Our Luxury Glamping Cabins are fully furnished and have everything you need to stay comfortable including foam mattress beds, linens and towels, kitchenette comfortable outdoor furniture, hammock, firepit and more! If you want to enjoy the great Texas outdoors without the setup and hassle of tent camping, while having all the creature comforts of home, our Luxury Glamping Cabins are for you! With a Luxury Glamping Cabin rental, you and your guests will enjoy the beautiful scenery and peacefulness of Son’s River Ranch which sits on the San Marcos River with its blue spring water and majestic tree studded banks. Sit ‘round the campfire at night and gaze at the big, bright, Texas starry sky! We are surrounded by large ranches which makes for a great outdoor get away from it all experience! There are 24 Luxury Glamping Cabins in total, #’s: A -H come with: 2 queen sized bed with foam mattress. They also feature a kitchenette with mini fridge, coffee maker, hot plate with pots and pans, and blender. We do not provide silverware and dinnerware, so be sure to bring these. Linens and towels are provided in our Luxury Glamping Cabins. For inside entertainment and relaxation, Guests will find a TV and DVD player. Outdoor amenities include: comfortable wicker seating, hammocks, fire-pits, BBQ pits, picnic table, outdoor lighting, water and electricity. We also have 8 Luxury Glamping Cabins #’s 1 – 16 which are similar in every way but have 1 queen beds with a twin daybed and an additional pullout twin mattress. Be sure you are booking the type you want! The unique design of our Luxury Glamping Cabins allows you to open up the entire front wall to enjoy an indoor/outdoor living experience, perfect for eating, relaxing and reconnecting with your friends and family. There are three 5-unit bathroom trailers by our glamping cabins (15 full bathrooms in total with showers) for your use. While at Blue River Camp, rent a riverside cabana or covered picnic table for the day or evening and go tubing, kayaking or fishing! Near the cabanas we build campfires each night for roasting s'mores while you enjoy the babbling sounds of the river and the fresh country air! Son's River Ranch is only 2 miles up the river and is our tubing put in location. During the warmer months we have shuttle vans and buses taking gusts upriver to enjoy a nice float back down to Son's Blue River Camp. The trip takes around 2 hours to tube and is very enjoyable! The property is only 30 miles from all the exciting attractions of New Braunfels and Gruene including: Schlitterbahn Water Park, Gruene Dance Hall, Son’s Island and much more. The exciting town of San Marcos with its great restaurants, shopping and night life is only 16 miles away. San Antonio is an approximate 50-minute drive and Downtown Austin is only a quick 30 minutes driving down the new 85 MPH I-130.
