Article 1: Definitions
1.1 Traveler: any person staying as part of a reservation.
1.2 Host: owner or manager of the property welcoming the travelers.
1.3 Premises: space, accommodation, or property made available for the stay.
Article 2: Maximum Number of Travelers
2.1 The maximum number of travelers allowed to stay on the premises is set at 4 persons. This number includes adults, children, and infants.
2.2 Any addition of travelers beyond this number is prohibited without prior consent from the host.
Article 3: Exception Requests
3.1 In exceptional circumstances, a request to increase the number of travelers may be submitted in writing to the host at least 7 days prior to the arrival date.
3.2 The host reserves the right to accept or refuse the request based on accommodation capacity, local regulations, and availability.
Article 4: Respect for the Premises
4.1 Travelers agree to maintain cleanliness, order, and good condition of the premises throughout their stay.
4.2 Disruptive activities, excessive noise, and any form of damage are strictly prohibited.
Article 5: Sanctions for Non-Compliance
5.1 Failure to comply with the traveler limit or respect for the premises will result in sanctions, which may include but are not limited to financial penalties, immediate eviction without refund, and/or legal proceedings.
Article 6: Modification of the Rules
6.1 The host reserves the right to modify these rules at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon communication to the travelers.
Article 7: Acceptance of the Rules
7.1 Booking and staying on the premises imply full and complete acceptance of these rules by the travelers.
Article 8: Security Deposit
8.1 Deposit Requirement: A security deposit is required from all travelers prior to occupancy. This deposit covers potential damages, losses, or breaches of this agreement during the stay.
8.2 Amount: The security deposit is set at €500 and must be paid to the host no later than 15 days before the arrival date.
8.3 Refund Conditions: The deposit will be fully refunded within a maximum of 10 days after departure, provided no damages are found and all rules have been respected.
8.4 Deductions: In case of damages, losses, or breaches, part or all of the deposit may be withheld. The host will provide a detailed inventory and receipts for costs incurred to repair damages, replace lost items, or cover extra expenses related to rule violations.
8.5 Disputes: In case of disagreement over deductions from the deposit, both parties agree to seek an amicable solution before pursuing legal action.
This regulation is established to ensure the well-being of all parties and respect for the premises. All travelers are encouraged to act responsibly and considerately during their stay.
Article 9: Eco-Responsible Commitment and Energy Management
9.1 Eco-Responsible Principles: Travelers commit to adopting eco-responsible behavior during their stay, especially regarding the use of heating, air conditioning, and other energy-consuming equipment.
9.2 Rational Energy Use: Heating and air conditioning systems must be used rationally and responsibly. Travelers agree to:
Not exceed recommended temperatures of 20°C (68°F) in winter and 25°C (77°F) in summer.
Turn off heating/air conditioning when not in the premises or when windows are open.
Use energy-consuming equipment only when necessary and efficiently.
9.3 Reducing Energy Footprint: Travelers are encouraged to reduce their energy footprint by turning off lights, electronic devices, and other equipment when not in use.
9.4 Sanctions and Penalties: Failure to respect eco-responsible principles and energy management guidelines may lead to financial penalties and/or other sanctions depending on the extent of overconsumption and environmental damage observed.
9.5 Awareness and Training: The host commits to providing travelers with all necessary information for eco-responsible use of equipment and encouraging environmentally friendly behavior during their stay.
This article aims to promote ecological awareness among travelers and minimize the environmental impact associated with their stay, contributing to the preservation of natural resources and the fight against climate change.
