Welcome to Acorn Ridge, a three-level Mentone cabin tucked into a peaceful natural setting, just steps from Brow Park and a short walk to downtown. Inside, you’ll find two living areas, two kitchens, and bright bedrooms—each with balcony access—creating the perfect retreat for families, friends, and groups seeking both comfort and connection to nature. Three porches, including a glass-enclosed lower porch (living area 2), offer year-round relaxation.

The cabin features a convenient half-circle driveway with space for up to four cars. Additional public parking is available just behind the Log Cabin Village, a short walk from Acorn Ridge, providing an easy alternative when needed.

Most cars can easily access the home and nearby areas. There is no public transportation, so bringing your own vehicle or renting one is preferred. While Uber and Lyft are available, getting a ride may not always be easy.
Acorn Ridge is located within walking distance of Downtown Mentone and Brow Park.
➤ Starter kitchen and bathroom essentials are provided, but guests will need to supply disposables and restock items for the duration of their stay. ➤ Exceeding maximum occupancy is not permitted. ➤ No third-party bookings (must book under your own account). ➤ No parties, events, smoking, vaping, marijuana use, or open flames (candles, incense, sage). ➤ Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm. Please keep noise to a minimum. ➤ Pets allowed with $50 fee per stay. Max 2 dogs under 60 lbs (pre-approval for larger). No cats or aggressive breeds. Keep pets off furniture, clean up after them, and crate if left alone.

Important information

*Thank you in advance for your understanding and compliance with the rules.* 1. Cancellation Policy for Direct Booking Long-Term Reservations (30 days or more): • For reservations of 30 days or longer, a separate cancellation policy applies. • Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel at least 30 days before the scheduled check-in date. • A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to the scheduled check-in date. • No refund will be provided for cancellations made 13 days or fewer before the scheduled check-in date. 2. Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement/check-in form that you are required to sign and return before your arrival. 3. If you are local and / or under the age of 23 please notify us before making your reservation. 4. We will charge a small, non-refundable damage waiver fee to cover any potential accidental property damage during your stay. This fee replaces the traditional security deposit. 5. We would like to inform you that for direct bookings, a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow the platform's cancellation policy. 6. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud. 7. No parties or events allowed. 8. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible. 9. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no "smoking" includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and "use of fire" includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed. 10. There cannot be more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any time. Violation may result in immediate removal of all guests without refund. Unauthorized guests exceeding the maximum occupancy will be charged $50 per night, per extra guest. 11. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 10:00 am. We're sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them. 12. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in). 13. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property. 14. The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be deducted from your security deposit. 15. This is a pet-friendly property! We’re glad if you were able to bring your pet along, but please note we have a few additional rules: • Please note that a $50 Pet fee will be applied per stay. • We are unable to host cats and breeds of dogs deemed aggressive, per our insurance policy. • No more than TWO (2) animals, no larger than 60 pounds. If your pet is heavier than 60 pounds, it will require pre-approval from our team. • Pets are not allowed on furniture & please clean up after your pets. • Do not leave your pet home alone unless crated (doggy doo-doo bags are provided). 16. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos. 17. For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera. 18. Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation, for any reason, will be considered no-shows. No-shows are non-refundable, and no credits, reschedules, or exceptions will be provided under any circumstances. 19. Please remember to take all of your belongings with you upon checkout. Any items left behind will incur a $50 Mailing fee (separate from the cost of postage). We will do our best to send your items back to you within a week. 20. If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs. 21. If you were a previous/current guest and did not respect our house rules and our property, we have the right to decline your next reservation. Thank you for understanding!
