Location
Whether guests want to explore Puglia’s ancient past or relax in the sun, the property is extremely well-located, in between Torre dell’Orso and Otranto. The apartment is close to some of Salento’s most beautiful beaches, including Baia dei Turchi (12 minutes) and the Faraglioni di Sant’Andrea bathing rocks (5 minutes).
For more active holiday-makers there is a surfing point just 2 minutes from the property and kitesurfing only 3 minutes away. Away from the coast visitors can enjoy the Alimini Lakes which are a haven for bird watchers. Alimini Grande is just a 5-minute drive. Here visitors can enjoy hiking, picnicking and swimming or they can hire canoes.
The peaceful port town of Otranto (15 minutes) makes a lovely day out. Here visitors can enjoy the castle, a lively port and excellent restaurants. The weekly market (Wednesday morning) is a source of the best local ingredients to cook at home. If you miss the market there are several supermarkets in the town.
The closest airport is at Brindisi - 1 hour and 5 minutes away by car.
