Rules
Guests must sign a rental agreement and abide by all house rules:
Maximum number of guests: The maximum number of guests permitted is 9, excluding infants under 2 years old. If the number of guests exceeds the maximum limit, additional guests will be asked to leave, and Appalachian High Country Retreat will not be responsible for their relocation costs.
Parties and events: Parties and events are not allowed. Entertaining a small number of additional guests may be permitted with prior approval from the hosts, but they must not stay overnight.
Check-in and check-out: Check-in time is 3:00 PM, and check-out time is 10:00 AM, unless otherwise arranged with the owner. An additional fee may apply outside of these hours.
Smoking policy: Smoking is prohibited inside the property. A $500 penalty will be charged if smoking occurs indoors. Smoking is permitted outside only, and all cigarette butts must be disposed of properly. Failure to do so may result in additional cleaning fees.
Rubbish disposal: Guests are responsible for disposing of all rubbish in the designated bins on the property.
Quiet hours: Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and guests must refrain from creating excessive noise that may disturb neighbours.
Parking: Ample parking is available on-site for boats, jet skis, and trailers.
Water usage: The property uses rainwater collected from the roof and stored in tanks. Please be mindful of water usage.
Septic system: The property is equipped with a septic sewage system. no foreign objects should be flushed down the toilet.
Before check-out, guests are required to:
Place all rubbish into the council bins and separate recyclables properly.
Wash and put away all dishes and cooking utensils.
Remove all food from cupboards and the fridge.
Leave all dirty towels in the bathroom.
Clean the BBQ.
Leave the furniture in the place you found it.
Leave the keys in the key safe and lock it.
