Big beautiful kitchen with lots of prep space - no dishwasher but everyone loves to help in this kitchen! The view is enjoyed by all who share family meals at the large dining table including extra seating at the island.
The separate sunroom is perfect for a quiet book or girl gab time.

OUTSIDE
Your family will enjoy the large yard perfect for games and having fun on the swing. There's even a hammock for your afternoon nap.
Grill up some steaks to share in the outdoor dining space.
Take approx. 80 stairs down your private access to the lake. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Even if it's stoney...it's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.
At night, all will gather round the firepit for smore's and ghost stories.
NOTE: This year 2026 there is a little bit of beach but there are public accesses all along this street where there might be more

All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp, wifi connections) Has outdoor camera on garage to monitor front yard/laneway. Any house rules violation is grounds for immediate termination of your stay without refund. Max occupancy at all times is 8, violation will result in removal without refund.

With wooded trails, scenic country vistas, and stunning Lake Huron, Bayfield is a beautiful place to explore no matter the season. Bring your hiking boots and plan a trip during leaf-peeping season for a display of color, or come enjoy the quiet of winter and crunch through the snow in evergreen forests.
