Blue Lobster Lodge has room to gather, spread out, and negotiate who gets the top bunk. With three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and inviting indoor and outdoor spaces, settling into beach mode comes naturally.
The sleeping setup
Two bedrooms each have a king bed—because vacation should involve a generous amount of horizontal space. The third bedroom has two twin-over-twin bunk beds, giving you four twin beds and the group’s first important diplomatic assignment: bunk selection. There’s sleeping space for eight altogether.
Two full bathrooms
Room for everyone to freshen up without forming a single-file shower queue. There’s also an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Sand belongs outside, despite its impressive determination to move in.
Full kitchen
Make breakfast before the beach, assemble an ambitious snack spread, or cook dinner together. Pots and pans are provided; appointing the family chef is up to you. Prefer cooking outside? Put the charcoal grill to work.
Living room
Your shared landing spot for catching up, winding down, and debating whether everyone has enough energy for one more trip to the beach.
Downstairs patio
With seating, games, an outdoor bar, and a firepit, the downstairs hangout gives the group another place to gather. Pull up a seat, get a little competitive, and let “just one more round” become the evening’s unofficial schedule.
You’ll have access to the entire home, including all three bedrooms, both bathrooms, the full kitchen, living room, and downstairs patio with seating and games. Settle in and make yourself at home.
The only off-limits areas are the attic and any locked closets, which are reserved for storage and maintenance supplies. If it’s locked, leave it that way—your vacation requires zero attic expeditions.

Blue Lobster Lodge is located in Sandpiper, a family-friendly neighborhood in the heart of Crystal Beach. The beach is about a five-minute walk away using the neighborhood access, or you can make the short trip by golf cart or vehicle if carrying chairs, coolers, and the full logistical infrastructure of a beach day.
The Big Store is only a couple of minutes away, with restaurants and other local favorites nearby. Sandpiper is home to both vacationers and full-time residents, giving it a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere rather than a crowded resort feel.
A personal vehicle is the easiest way to explore Crystal Beach and the rest of the Bolivar Peninsula. Many nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions are just a short drive away, while the beach is about a five-minute walk from the house using the neighborhood access.
Golf carts are also a popular way to get around the neighborhood and reach the beach. Please follow all local traffic rules and beach regulations. If you plan to drive or park a vehicle on the beach, you’ll need to purchase a beach parking permit locally.
Walking works nicely for the beach. For everything farther away, wheels are recommended—the peninsula is relaxing, but it was not designed by people carrying six grocery bags.
A few useful details before you arrive:
House rules
The maximum occupancy is eight guests. Only registered guests are permitted unless additional visitors are approved in advance. Parties and events are not allowed, and quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please keep outdoor conversations, music, and competitive debates at a neighbor-friendly volume.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the home. Please take care of the furniture, games, grill, firepit, and other amenities, and report any accidental damage promptly. Guests may not enter the attic or any locked closets. Those areas contain owner and maintenance supplies—and nothing that will improve your vacation.
Starter supplies
We provide a complimentary starter kitchen kit and starter coffee to help get your stay moving in the right direction. These are intended as an initial supply rather than enough provisions for the entire trip, so longer stays may require a quick store run.
Guest portal
Every reservation includes access to a private guest portal containing check-in instructions, house information, helpful guides, and other important details. You can also use the portal to purchase available enhancements, including early check-in and late checkout. These options are subject to availability and must be approved in advance, since the cleaning schedule remains stubbornly governed by time.
Lost and found
Please check for chargers, clothing, and beloved stuffed animals before leaving. If an item is found and needs to be shipped back, there is a $50 handling fee plus the cost of shipping.
