Location
The property is located in the coastal area of Frassanito, less than a 10-minute walk from the beach, between Torre dell’Orso (an 8-minute drive) and Otranto (a 14-minute drive). The area is known for its natural beauty, fine sandy shores and clear blue seas.
The apartment is close to some of Salento’s most beautiful beaches, including Baia dei Turchi (an 11-minute drive) and the Faraglioni di Sant’Andrea bathing rocks (a 6-minute drive). There's also both a surfing school and a kitesurfing school, approximately a 10-minute walk away from the resort.
Away from the coast, visitors can enjoy the Alimini Lakes, which are a haven for birdwatchers. Alimini Grande is just a 5-minute drive. Here, visitors can enjoy hiking, picnicking, and swimming, or they can hire canoes.
The peaceful port town of Otranto makes a lovely day out. Here, visitors can enjoy the castle, a lively port and excellent restaurants. The weekly market (Wednesday morning) is a source of the best local ingredients to cook at home. If you miss the market, there are several supermarkets in the town.
