• Rules

  House Rules • Primary renter must be 21+, sign a rental agreement, and provide valid photo ID. The registered guest must remain on-site for the entire stay. Subleasing is prohibited. • Maximum occupancy is 8 overnight guests ages 13+ and 2 guests 12 and under (total of 10 guests), per city regulations. Exceeding this limit may result in fines or eviction. • No parties or events. Loud music, rambunctious gatherings, or excessive cars disturbing neighbors are strictly prohibited. • No sticking tape on walls or pictures, and no confetti is allowed. • Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 10 AM. Excessive noise or disturbances may result in immediate eviction without refund. • Smoking or vaping is not allowed indoors, including cigarettes, marijuana, or e-cigarettes. Any cleaning or damage costs will be charged to the primary guest. • Pets must be on leashes in unenclosed areas. No dogs in the pool. Please clean up after your pets and be mindful of barking to avoid neighbor complaints. Max 1 dog • Only park in designated areas: garage, driveway, or directly in front of the property. Max 4 vehicles allowed. Avoid blocking neighbors’ homes or driveways. • Children under 18 must be supervised at all times when using the pool or spa. • Firepit and BBQ must be operated by responsible adults only. • No firearms, fireworks, or hazardous materials allowed on the property. • Follow all local, county, and state laws and short-term rental regulations, including all rules on the City's "Good Neighbor Brochure", provided prior to checkin. Noncompliance may result in eviction by city without refund. • Late checkout may result in a fee of up to $200 unless approved in advance. • Fines may apply for violations of house rules or city ordinances, including Code Enforcement penalties.   Family-Friendly Comfort: As parents ourselves, we know how important it is to have a space that makes traveling with little ones easier. Boho Bungalow is thoughtfully equipped for young families with a Pack 'n Play (crib sheets, sound machine and baby monitor included) and a high chair for added convenience. You'll also find a variety of books, games, and puzzles to enjoy together, plus kid-friendly dishware—including plastic plates, bowls, cups, sippy cups, and utensils—to make mealtime stress-free. Pet-Friendly Accommodations: We welcome one dog only (up to 60 lbs) for a fee of $150 per stay. This fee helps cover the additional cleaning required for pet hair. If any waste beyond hair (such as urine or feces) is found, an additional $200 cleaning fee will be charged. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet, and dogs should not be left unattended in the home, as barking may disturb neighbors. Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the pool. Please let us know if you are traveling with a dog Desert Living: Our home is nestled in the beautiful Coachella Valley desert, where wind can occasionally blow sand or leaves into the pool. While our pool cleaners visit only Monday and Thursday to keep the water sparkling, we’ve also provided skimmers for your convenience if you'd like to clear any debris in between. Our gardener visits weekly on Mondays to maintain the yard. STR Permit #003584

You’ll receive a unique front door code 2 days prior to arrival, allowing for secure, easy entry at any time—day or night. Guest Portal: Your guest portal puts everything you need in one place, including property details, local things to do, and helpful house instructions. Management: Our property is expertly managed by Rather Be Properties, and we’re committed to making your stay enjoyable and seamless. Our team is available daily from 9 AM to 9 PM to assist with any questions or requests. You can easily reach us through the Airbnb app, by phone, or email. For any urgent issues after hours, we also offer a 24-hour emergency line, ensuring support at any time during your stay.

  The community in Desert Hot Springs offers a range of services including grocery stores, shopping centers, health and fitness facilities, and dining options. Local amenities are geared towards fostering a community environment with practical conveniences close at hand. ~Driving: The area is described as car-dependent, so having a car would be the most convenient way to navigate around Desert Hot Springs and the surrounding regions. This provides flexibility for exploring distant attractions, shopping centers, and more. ~Public Transportation: While Desert Hot Springs has limited public transportation options, there are services within the Coachella Valley via SunLine Transit Agency. This includes fixed-route buses that connect to key locations throughout the valley, including Palm Springs and other nearby towns. ~Ride-Sharing and Taxis: Services like Uber and Lyft are available in the area, offering an alternative for those who prefer not to drive. Taxis are also an option, although they may be less readily available than in larger cities. ~Biking: The area has a somewhat bikeable rating, indicating that certain areas might be accessible by bicycle, though it might not be the most convenient mode of transportation for longer distances or navigating hilly terrain.
