On the third floor (with lift) of a recent development, with pale wooden floors throughout, this 2-bedroom flat sleeps 6 people. The airy living room has a large window and a glass door, leading onto a balcony overlooking the street. There is a large sofa (which converts into a double bed), a Smart TV and a contemporary dining table with 6 chairs.
The spacious, modern kitchen has a breakfast bar next to the large glass door that leads out onto another little balcony. It is equipped with everything you might need for your stay: an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer and a Nespresso machine.

Location
In the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino, on the borders of Switzerland and Italy, Lugano nestles between the mountains and the stunning Lago Lugano. The city has a rich cultural heritage of which is MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. There are many festivals throughout the year, including “Luganomusica” every summer.
The apartment is in a quiet, but extremely central part of Lugano. The lakeside, with its famous promenade, is just a 5-minute walk away. A day trip on the Lago di Lugano, sailing between Switzerland and Italy is a must, as is an aperitivo in the city’s main square, Piazza della Riforma (8 minutes walk). The piazza is lined with many excellent cafés and restaurants.
For guests who want to self-cater, the farmers’ market (Tuesdays and Fridays) in Via Carducci (5 minutes walk) is the place to go to pick up the best local ingredients.
The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20-minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 12-minute walk from the apartment.
