Many of the Belle Époque-style hotels and villas have been well-preserved, contributing to the town's enduring charm.
The town’s main attractions are the Borromean Islands, a group of picturesque islands located just off the coast - Isola Bella, Isola Madre, and Isola dei Pescatori. These islands are known for their opulent palaces, well-manicured gardens, and captivating beauty. Visitors can take one of the ferries in the port (a 2-minute walk away) to explore the islands and immerse themselves in their rich history.
