Get away from it all in this cosy apartment in the charming village of Champlas du Col. On the first floor of a traditional stone house, the split-level apartment can sleep up to 4 people. It makes the ideal base for friends or family who want to explore the spectacular countryside around Sestriere.
The apartment enjoys beautiful views across the valley to the mountains beyond. Tucked under the eaves, the open-plan living space is divided by a flight of 3 steps. The seating area is on the upper level and is comfortably furnished with beautiful antique pieces as well as a sofa and flat-screen TV. Glass doors open onto the balcony with panoramic views.
The kitchen/diner is on the lower level. Here, guests will find a rustic dining table and the kitchen, which is equipped with a cooker hob, microwave, coffee machine and a fridge/freezer.

Bedroom: The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size double bed, a flat-screen TV and a chest of drawers.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Location
The village of Champlas du Col is only a 7-minute drive from the hub of Sestriere. Home of the 2006 Winter Olympics, Sestiere has excellent skiing facilities for all ages. Visitors can enjoy cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing. The town has a range of restaurants and cafés as well as grocery stores and other amenities. It is part of the Via Lattea (Milky Way) network of ski slopes. Visitors can access 400km of slopes for all levels.
Sauze di Cesana (3 minutes) leads to the Valle Argentera. The valley is known for its outstanding natural beauty. In the summer months, guests can hike by the river near the Ponte Terribile.
Turin airport is a 1-hour and 20-minute drive from the apartment.
