The village of Monvalle is a 5-minute drive from both Lake Monate and Lake Maggiore and a 12-minute drive from the Lake of Varese. Sun lovers will enjoy Lake Maggiore’s beautiful partial-sand partial-garden Guree beach (a 5-minute drive) and the pretty family-friendly beach of Reno (a 7-minute drive).
The waterfront nature park Golfo della Quassa Park is a 12-minute drive away and features a beach and both walking and cycling routes. Guests can also enjoy the picturesque town of Ispra (an 8-minute drive) and the local tourist attractions of Santa Caterina del Sasso (an 8-minute drive) and the wonderful Angera Castle (a 13-minute drive).
Laveno’s nearby car/passenger ferry (a 12-minute drive) will take visitors across to Intra on the Western shore where guests can enjoy Villa Taranto’s botanical gardens, the child-friendly zoo of Villa Pallavicino and the hiking opportunities of Mottarone.
