About this property

Come stay at this beautiful cottage on Chemong Lake 1.5 hours from GTA. The main floor has large windows and a spacious patio with perfect view of the lake. We have a large patio with views of the lake for dining.
The lower level has a kitchenette with a pool table & walk out access. There is a private boat launch on the property.
The Lake is fantastic for boating, fishing, or paddling around.
We have a fire pit to use, kayak, canoe and a paddle boat available from May to October.
Cottage is very spacious with 4 bedroom and a beautiful modern kitchen, fully equipped for a comfortable stay. There is a beautiful gathering space in the basement with a pool table for your entertainment.
Cottage is located in a large lot with plenty of space for outdoor fun and games. There is a large deck for outdoor dining, walkout basement with a view of the lake and a firepit for spending time with your family and friends under the stars.
Additionally, a play structure for kids entertainment.
An outdoor firepit is at your disposal.

Kayak, Canoe and a paddle boat for enjoying lake Chemong ! Life jackets are provided. There is a private boat launch on the property.
Lakefield is 10 minutes and Peterborough is 20 minutes away and offers many tourist attractions including boat locks, Kawartha Ice Cream, dining and shopping.
Summer seasonal activities (dock, kayak, canoe etc) : The dock is generally ready for the May 24 long weekend. Kayak, canoe and paddle boats are available from May to October.
There is a fire ban in the Kawartha region for the month of April. Lighting an outdoor fire at this time will lead to penalties imposed by the city officials.
GUESTS ARE TO TAKE GARBAGE AND RECYCLE BACK WITH THEM AT THE END OF THEIR STAY.
NO LOUD MUSIC IS PERMITTED AFTER 10PM AS IT CAN BE A DISTURBANCE TO THE NEIGHBOURHOOD.

    • Quite hours between 9 pm & 8 am • No shoes in the house • Guest should bring their own firewood and ensure fire is put out at end of use. • Early check in or late check out can be arranged when available based on availability. • Thank you for your thoughtfulness and consideration in leaving the cottage (inside and out) clean and tidy. For guest use, Cottage has a broom, dustpan, dish soap and vacuum • No loud music or parties or events at anytime • No Fireworks are allowed in the property at all times. Its against the township by-law. • Insects and wildlife are a part of cottage country. Please discourage them by keeping doors and screens closed. • Maximum two pets allowed. • Pets cannot be left unattended, and we ask that you pick up after your pet. • Please do not put anything into the toilets but into the trash cans provided in the washrooms for paper towels, Kleenex, tampons, pads, flushable wipes, hair etc • Please clean and empty fridge, microwave, and Oven. • Empty all garbage containers. • There is a fire ban in the region for the month of April.
