Eagle Feather Lookout is especially well suited for groups traveling with a mix of ages. Adults have private bedrooms and comfortable gathering spaces, kids and cousins can enjoy the oversized bunk room and play areas, and everyone can come together for meals, games, pickleball, hot tub time, or evenings around the firepit—all with Bear Lake as the backdrop.
Eagle Feather Lookout is tucked into the hills above Garden City, where you can enjoy a quieter mountain setting, sweeping Bear Lake views, and easy access to many of the area’s favorite family attractions.
Bear Lake is often called the “Caribbean of the Rockies” for its striking turquoise blue water, and from the home you’ll be overlooking a wide stretch of the lake and surrounding mountains. The neighborhood feels peaceful and removed from the busiest parts of town, while still keeping activities, dining, and entertainment close by.
Bear Lake Adventure Park is nearby, making it easy to add family-friendly activities to the day, and Pickleville Playhouse is just a short trip away for one of the area’s favorite evening traditions. Garden City’s restaurants, shops, famous raspberry shakes, and lake access are also within easy reach, with the Bear Lake Marina approximately 8 minutes from the home.
Depending on the season, spend your days boating, swimming, hiking, golfing, exploring Garden City, catching a show at Pickleville, or heading into the mountains for skiing, then return to the quieter hillside setting of Eagle Feather Lookout.
A personal vehicle is the easiest way to get around during your stay. Eagle Feather Lookout is located in the hills above Garden City, so most restaurants, lake access points, shops, and attractions are best reached by car.
Bear Lake Adventure Park is very close to the home, and some nearby destinations may be walkable for guests comfortable with the area’s hills and local roads. For most outings, however, we recommend driving.
The Bear Lake Marina is approximately 8 minutes away, Garden City’s dining and shopping are just a short drive from the home, and nearby skiing is a little over 15 minutes away. During winter, snow and mountain road conditions can make travel more challenging, so 4WD/AWD or appropriate traction equipment may be necessary.
A $35 damage waiver is included as part of the cleaning fee for each reservation. This waiver helps cover accidental damage during your stay, up to $1,500, and is included automatically with your booking.
No pets are allowed at this property.
Guests should bring their own firewood if they plan to use the outdoor firepit.
Winter conditions can make the hillside roads and driveway more difficult to navigate. 4WD/AWD or appropriate traction equipment may be necessary during periods of snow or ice, and winter parking is more limited than during the summer.
