• Access

  Emerald Cove and Emerald Point are connected by an outdoor walkway. They are 2 separate cabins, but could be rented together and are next to each other.

• Transit

  Our area of Cross Lake is truly picturesque, with scenic winding roads, towering cypress trees draped in Spanish moss, and a beautiful drive along South Lakeshore Drive leading to Emerald Isle. For convenience, a Brookshire’s grocery store is nearby, along with Family Dollar, Circle K, and a brand-new Dollar Tree for any essentials you may need. Looking for adventure? There’s plenty to explore in the Shreveport-Bossier area! Try your luck at the riverboat casinos, get up close with marine life at the Shreveport Aquarium, or enjoy hands-on fun at the Sci-Port Discovery Center. For even more excitement, visit Gators & Friends or cool off at Wonder Oasis Waterpark! Take a stroll along the Louisiana Boardwalk for shopping, dining, and a movie—all with stunning views of the Red River. And for outdoor enthusiasts, Bass Pro Shops is the perfect stop for all your gear and adventure needs!

  Cross Lake is a stunning year-round destination, perfect for boating, fishing, sailing, and birdwatching. Relax on your private porch as Great Blue Herons glide gracefully across the water—and keep an eye out for “Alli” the alligator! For easy lake access, we have our own private boat launch. Craving seafood? There’s a fantastic lakeside restaurant with floating docks, so you can arrive by boat or car! Need supplies? Brookshire’s grocery store is just a few miles away, along with Circle K, Dollar General, and the brand-new Dollar Tree for all your essentials.
