About this property

The Gulf is close here. You hear it before you see it. The wind comes off the water and moves through the pilings and the decks, and for a little while the rest of the world feels far away.
This three-bed, two-bath beach house sits in the heart of Crystal Beach, on the Bolivar Peninsula where the sand runs wide and flat and the days are simple: beach, sun, good food, and sleep. Families come here for long, easy days on the shore, fishing trips, and lazy drives on the sand.
Inside, the home is built for people to be together. The living room is open and bright. There is an electric fireplace that throws a soft glow on cool nights, with a big sofa where kids sprawl after the sun and salt have worn them out. The kitchen opens to the room, so whoever is cooking is still part of the talk. Sleeping arrangements
  • Bedroom 1: King bed
  • Bedroom 2: Queen bed
  • Bedroom 3 (bunk room): Two twin-over-twin bunks

Two full baths make mornings and after-beach clean-up simple, even with a full crew.
Outside, there is space to sit, eat, and watch the light change. A partially covered deck works for morning coffee when the air is still cool or for a last drink when the stars come out. Below, you’ll find outdoor seating, a dining area, and a grill, so suppers can be cooked and eaten in the open air.
Down in the garage hangout, the day runs a little later. There is a propane fire pit, chairs pulled around it, and room for a cooler with a few outdoor games. It is a good spot for a guys’ trip after a day of fishing, or a girls’ weekend with music low and the fire burning while the wind comes in off the Gulf.
Guests have the run of the place. They step into the house and it is theirs—the wide living room, the three bedrooms with their good beds, the two baths where the sand is washed away, and the kitchen where coffee is made early and supper is cooked late. They walk out to the upper deck and sit in the shade or the sun, eating and talking while the wind comes in off the water. Below, they have the ground level with its tables and chairs and the grill where the day’s work is done over open flame. In the garage there is a place to sit by the propane fire, to talk quietly and watch the night. The laundry is there when it is needed, save for one locked renter’s locker that is kept for the owner. The attic stays closed and forgotten. Everything else is open to them, simple and clear, with no one to bother how they use it so long as they treat it well.
I am not local to the area, but I am close by when you need me. The best way to reach me is through the platform’s messaging system, where I answer quickly. If something is urgent, you can also call or text, and I’ll help you sort it out as soon as I can.
The house sits in a quiet pocket near the center of Crystal Beach. The streets are simple and low, with houses on pilings and the Gulf out in front of it all. You hear the surf on still nights. In the morning, you can be on the sand in a short walk or a quick golf cart ride, driving along the wide, open beach the peninsula is known for.
Around you is an easy-going beach town. People move slow here. Families set up canopies on the shore and stay all day. Golf carts roll along the back roads and on most stretches of beach where they’re allowed, and there are simple places to eat, pick up bait, or grab ice and groceries just a short drive away.
At night the neighborhood is mostly quiet. You sit on the deck and see porch lights, a few carts heading home, and the dark line of the Gulf beyond. It feels like a place made for small things done well—coffee on the porch, a walk to the water, children with sand on their legs and salt in their hair, and the kind of sleep that comes easy after a day outside.
People get around Crystal Beach in simple ways. The roads are flat and easy, and most days you see as many golf carts as trucks. Many guests rent a cart for the stay and use it to ride down to the sand, move between beach access points, or roll over to the store and the restaurants along Highway 87, always keeping to the slower roads and local rules. You can drive your own car or truck right onto most stretches of the beach with a Bolivar Beach parking sticker, then park by the water and set up for the day.
Some people never leave the peninsula once they arrive—they come in on the ferry or down the highway, stock up at the Big Store, and then spend the days moving between house, beach, and a handful of local spots. However you travel—cart, car, or on foot—you move at a slower pace here. The distances are short, the sky is wide, and it is easy to get where you are going without much fuss.
