  Nous sommes retournés à cette maison pour la 3e fois et la maison a été bien entretenue au fil du temps avec quelques petites rénovations et ajouts à chaque visite. Nous sommes une famille avec 4 enfants (4 à 12 ans) et il y a beaucoup de place à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur pour s’amuser. Les enfants aiment profiter du grand terrain et des espaces de jeux à l’intérieur. On a adopté le chat du voisin qui nous rendait visite à tous les jours. On aime l’environnement paisible, le chants des oiseaux le matin et la magnifique vue sur les champs environnants. La proximité avec la plage de North Beach est un avantage anodin que tous les grands vignobles du conté. La cuisine est équipée avec tous les accessoires de base, un peu vieux parfois mais somme toute, fonctionnels. On a eu un petit souci avec le BBQ et l’eau, ce qui a été signalé et n’a pas occasionné de problèmes majeurs. On y retournerait à nouveau sans aucun doute.

  My friends and I had a lovely stay at the Farmhouse. It was clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again.

  We had a wonderful stay at The Farmhouse. The location exceeded our expectations – beautiful, peaceful, full of history, and a perfect base for exploring the area. The house itself was very spacious. With five of us, everyone had plenty of room to do their own activities without feeling crowded. It was also very well-stocked with everything we needed, along with lots of thoughtful extras. Even though we visited in August and there was no air conditioning, the temperatures indoors were generally comfortable (a bit warm at night but cool in the mornings). The only drawback was the upstairs washroom at night. There were quite a few bugs, which meant getting bitten during showers and clearing the counter of dead bugs in the mornings. This may be something to keep in mind if you’re not used to a more rustic experience. That said, we truly enjoyed our stay, especially the surprise visits from the adorable cats on the property. We would definitely consider staying at The Farmhouse again!

  The Farmhouse is a very special place to stay. The house is well appointed, plenty of parking and very quiet and pastoral. Easy access. And a good starting point for cycling .The highlight was making friends with the cutest family of baby kittens and cats- they were so friendly. Plus, we discovered a wonderful restaurant in Consecon called Charlie’s- worth a stop.
