About this property

Only minutes from everything downtown Wilmington has to offer, our 120 year old Bungalow feels like your own personal cozy retreat. With two bedrooms and one bath, its just the right size for a small family or a few friends looking for a home base for your next adventure. Plus, you're only one block from Castle st. where you can grab a morning coffee, shop for records, or eat some amazing food at RX or Olivero. PLEASE NOTE that this rental is the front half of a duplex with a shared back yard.
The space is ready for you to relax and enjoy your Wilmington vacation. Hang out in the living room, or cook a family style meal in the well outfitted kitchen.
LIVING ROOM
The large living room is attached to the dining area and provides a cozy setting to watch tv or log into Netflix or Hulu and keep streaming your favorite shows.
DINING ROOM
Enjoy dinners at the dining table with 6 seats, ready to let everyone gather around and enjoy a meal or drink before heading out to one of downtown's great venues.
KITCHEN
We love to cook when we're at the house, so the kitchen comes fully stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, and all essential tools. You'll have access to coffee makers (drip or french press) and an electric kettle.
The kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator with ice maker. We provide some Public Goods dishwasher detergent to get you started.
BEDROOMS
There are two bedrooms in the condo, both with closets to store your clothes while you are here. Each room also has extra linens in each closet.
BATHROOM
The bathroom is connected through the kitchen, giving both bedrooms equal access, and a little privacy. It is stocked with towels and washcloths, plus soap, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner by Public Goods.
LAUNDRY
We have a washer and dryer in case you would like to do laundry. Don’t worry, we also have some Public Goods laundry detergent to get you started.
PORCH
The home has a nice front porch that runs across the front of the unit. We have a sitting area where you can enjoy a morning coffee, or head into the back yard and sit under the massive magnolia tree.
Guests will be provided a unique code for access at the time of booking. If a code is not received, please reach out to hosts for more information.
You'll have everything you need to access the condo on your own. Feel free to message in the app if there is anything you need. In case of emergency we will provide a phone number, but otherwise we won't intrude on your vacation.
Downtown Wilmington is an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, bars, breweries, music venues...and just about anything else you could want to do. Our home is located in the historic Castle St. district where you'll find vintage stores and Saturday markets. Or stroll down to the river front and experience amazing sunsets amongst buildings and streets that are hundreds of years old.
You will have a parking place and we recommend having a car to see everything Wilmington has to offer, however, you can easily walk to Castle Street, the Cargo District, and downtown WIlmington from the home.
THINGS TO KNOW
AGE REQUIREMENT This is also in our rules, but we get a lot of questions about this. We currently require our primary renter to be 25 years of age.
PETS Also in our rules, but sadly we do not allow your furry friends at our condo.
ACCESSIBILITY The house is one level, but does sit slightly up on a foundation without any ramp access at this time. The door entry also has a large step over that unfortunately makes it difficult for wheelchairs to enter.
PARKING We guarantee ONE parking place. There is a driveway to the left of the home that you will have access to for your stay.
CONNECTIVITY We have high-speed WIFI capable of WFH (we do it all the time!).
SHARED SPACES This is the front unit in a duplex. The back unit is an occupied residence.
