Kitchen A chef's dream for large groups. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, generous counter space, and everything you need to cook and entertain — from holiday feasts to morning coffee runs. No need to eat out unless you want to.
Game Room & Bar The showstopper. A beautifully decorated bear-themed bar anchors a dedicated game room complete with a pool table, dartboard, and ping pong table. Whether it's a rainy afternoon or a late night after dinner, there's never a dull moment at Gold Rush Lodge.
Outdoors Step outside to the private hot tub and let the mountain air do the rest. The deck is ideal for morning coffee, evening cocktails, or simply soaking in the towering pines of Fox Farm. Arrive in style via the property's unique bridge driveway — your first hint that this place is something special.
Guests will have access to the entire home and outdoors of the property excluding the garage which is locked for owner's property
Please note the house does not have A/C upstairs, only downstairs. It is usually not hot enough to be needed but we provide fans in case it gets a little warm.
Big Bear has some very important rules for all short term rentals. You will must follow these rules or your stay will be canceled without refund:
1.) Do not exceed the stated occupancy limit: the occupancy is (16) adults for The Gold Rush Lodge 2.) No parking on the street or yard and a maximum of (5) vehicles 3.) No amplified music 24/7 4.) Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00pm-7:00am. 5.) No pets allowed
No Parties! If you have more than the number of guests in your booking your stay will be cancelled immediately. The city takes this very seriously.

While power or Wi-Fi outages are uncommon, they can occasionally affect the entire area due to weather or other natural factors. We always do our best to support our guests, but some situations are outside our control. Since we must follow our cancellation policy and are unable to provide refunds for natural disasters or related disruptions, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. This will give you peace of mind in the event of wildfires, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your understanding and want your trip to be as worry-free as possible.
