Alghero is a fascinating destination at any time of year! This contemporary, 2nd floor (with lift) apartment makes the perfect base for a family or friends who want to explore the city and also the stunning beaches along the Coral Riviera.
The apartment sleeps up to 4 people in comfort. The open-plan living area is light and airy, thanks to the double glass doors which open onto a private balcony. The balcony has a café-style table and chairs where guests can enjoy an “aperitivo” al fresco.
Back indoors, the living area is furnished with a large sofa, a flat-screen TV, as well as a dining table. Next to this is the neat kitchen, separated from the rest of the room by a polished granite breakfast bar. The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed, extensive wardrobe, dressing table and chair.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has two single beds, plus a wardrobe and French windows out onto a private balcony.

Location
In the centre of Alghero, just a 5-minute drive from the Centro Storico, the apartment is ideally located. Alghero is blessed with many fine beaches. The main city beach is Spiaggia del Lido di Alghero, it is a 5-minute drive. Out of town, there are some beautiful beaches along the coast towards Porto Conte. Some are well equipped with cafés, sun loungers and water sports facilities, others are wilder and less crowded. Spiaggia di Mugoni (25 minutes) is particularly good for families with children, thanks to its gentle sloping sand and clear seas.
Alghero is a fascinating collection of architecture, from the ancient walls that encircle the city, to the 16th century Santa Maria Cathedral. The city is home to a wide range a beautiful churches, museums and palaces, making it a great destination at any time of year. The historic centre’s cobbled streets open onto lively squares. A stroll around the port area is a rewarding experience, especially if it involves lunch or dinner at one of the many, delicious, local restaurants.
For self-catering the best and freshest local produce is available at the Mercato Civico Alghero (5-minute drive), by the walls of the old town. Alternatively, there are two supermarkets a 5-minute walk away.
