The apartment’s neighbourhood is located in a peaceful setting, away from the crowds and buzz of the cosmopolitan life, but close enough to enjoy all the action in Lugano anytime. It is just a short walk from the famous Lido di San Domenico as well as the amazing Olive Trail that leads to the picturesque lakeside village of Gandria.
Lugano’s historic centre, the beautiful Parco Ciani, museums, San Lorenzo Cathedral, the terraces of Piazza della Riforma, Lugano casino and several discos for party animals are all within a pleasant 20-minute walk from the rental. Meanwhile, for natural sightseeing and greenery, Monte San Salvatore and Monte Bre are a 15-minute drive away. These magnificent summits are also ideal for hikers and cycling enthusiasts (Lugano has 300km of extensive cycling network, the biggest in Switzerland).
For easy connectivity, the Castagnola-Serenella bus stop is just next door and the ferry terminal of Lugano is a 15-minute walk to the lakeshore. For visiting the other towns on Lugano Bay, the SBB FFS train is an ideal mode connecting Paradiso, Agno, Melide and more.
