As parents of young children, we understand how challenging traveling with little ones can be. That's why we've made every effort to accommodate families with young kids. We provide a pack 'n play with crib sheets, a high chair as well as children's cups, plates, bowls, and utensils. There are also board games and puzzles for the whole family to enjoy!
Pet-Friendly Accommodations:
We welcome one dog only (up to 60 lbs) for a fee of $150 per stay. This fee helps cover the additional cleaning required for pet hair. If any waste beyond hair (such as urine or feces) is found, an additional $200 cleaning fee will be charged. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet, and dogs should not be left unattended in the home, as barking may disturb neighbors. Please let us know if you are traveling with a dog
Pests & Wildlife
We're on a barrier island, and coastal bugs come with the territory. Midges — tiny non-biting bugs that swarm in big numbers — are common in certain seasons, and mosquitoes and no-see-ums can be active on calm evenings, especially from late spring through early fall. A few things that make a real difference: keep the doors closed and the outdoor lights off after dark, and bring or use bug spray when you're out on the deck. We treat the property regularly, but breezeless nights can still bring them out. Breezy days and the beach itself are almost always bug-free.
