On the border of Switzerland and Italy, nestling between the lakes and the mountains, Lugano is famous for its stunning location, rich cultural heritage and excellent restaurants.
A day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must, as is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake.
The city has many excellent museums, including MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland), LAC (Lugano Arte e Cultura) and The Museum of Cultures, but for something more sporty, there are regular mountain running races throughout the year as part of the Ticino Mountain Running Cup.
For business travelers, the apartment is just an 11 minute walk from the Centro Esposizioni Lugano exhibition centre and an 18 minute walk from the Palazzo Dei Congressi Lugano.
