On the border of Switzerland and Italy, the city of Lugano is famous for its stunning location, rich cultural heritage and excellent restaurants and cafés. The city hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer. MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (20-minute walk) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. A day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must, as is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake. From there, an aperitivo in Piazza della Riforma, the heart of the city, is a relaxing way to end the day.
For business travellers, the apartment is just an 11-minute walk from the Centro Esposizioni Lugano exhibition centre and an 18-minute walk from the Palazzo Dei Congressi Lugano.
