Cozy terraced house apartment (built in 1990) in a peaceful location near the center of Äkäslompolo village, right next to the Ylläskaltio Hotel. Shops, restaurants, equipment rentals, and other village services are within walking distance. An excellent base for winter skiing and snowboarding holidays, as well as summer and autumn hiking.
The apartment has a floor area of 30 m², plus a loft of 13 m². The combined kitchen/living room features a new, well-equipped kitchen with a wide range of cooking utensils. The living area includes a sofa and a dining set.
In the loft, there is a 120 cm wide bed and two 80 cm wide beds. The apartment provides bedding (duvets and pillows) for four people and can accommodate a maximum of four guests. The downstairs sofa is not a sofa bed, but a person up to 160 cm tall can sleep on it if needed. There is also an additional mattress available in the loft as an alternative sleeping option for the fourth guest. Note: the loft is accessed via steep stairs.
The apartment includes a bathroom/WC with a large drying cabinet and a private sauna with an electric stove.
At the entrance, there is a lockable ski storage room specific to the apartment, where you can safely store skis, snowboarding equipment, or other outdoor gear. Guests also have access to a heated ski maintenance room, which is shared and free of charge. The maintenance room is equipped with ski waxing tables available for use.
