Important house rules & info

  • Notes

🛏️ To make sure everything is perfectly ready for your stay, please double-check that the number of guests in your booking matches who will be coming — this helps us prepare the right bedding, towels, and little touches for everyone. You will receive the pre-check in template and lease agreement for signing. ❗️Please note that 90% of the rental price covers the holiday home, while 10% covers the rental of movable goods. No additional services such as daily cleaning or breakfast are provided. 🐕 Pets are allowed, but please contact us beforehand so we can assess each case individually. Due to extra cleaning and potential allergies for future guests, a flat fee of €50 applies. 🔥 Firewood is not provided as standard. Guests can purchase it at Orga Havelange or Mr. Bricolage in Ohey. 🧘🏼 Time to sit back, relax, and reconnect with your #innerpeace.

  • Access

Privacy | During your stay, the cottage is entirely yours. You are free to use the bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, garden, dining room, living room, and patio. Since we occasionally come back to relax, you may find some personal belongings in a cupboard or the fridge. Check-in | If we are not nearby, we will provide you with all instructions shortly before your arrival.

  • Transit

Getting here | To reach our old cottage, public transport may be limited. While it may be possible to get here by public transport to some extent, we recommend using a car for convenience and efficiency when reaching your destination.

  • Neighborhood

Neighbourhood | Our house is surrounded by meadows, forests, and an endless number of narrow but muddy paths. Don’t forget your rubber boots for the many walks along these trails, or bring your 4x4 (just like our good old Jeep a.k.a. Willy) or motorbike to explore one of the many country roads during your visit to the numerous castles or towns in the area. Shopping | Despite its countryside location, all essential shops are close by (Delhaize in Havelange, Spar in Clavier, Okay in Ohey, etc.).

  • Interaction

If we are nearby, we will gladly welcome you in person and show you around, explaining the ins and outs of our cottage. If this is not possible, we will make sure everything is ready for your arrival and that the keys are available in a key box. We have also created a brochure (still in progress) that explains the things you need to know about the house, as well as some tips and tricks on what to do, where to eat and drink, and what to see in the area.
