Set in the hills above the pretty town of Alassio, 10 minutes from the Ligurian coast, this traditional house is an ideal summer retreat for friends or a family who are looking to relax on a beach and enjoy hiking in the countryside.
This charmingly renovated village house sleeps 4 people. The open plan living area, with its cool terracotta floors, has a comfortable sofa, flatscreen TV and dining table. The attractive kitchen area, with exposed brick and wooden units, is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge, freezer and coffee machine (mokka).
The door from the living area leads out onto a private terrace, with a view of the sea. The terrace has a dining table, chairs and parasol, for dining al fresco.

Bedroom: The master bedroom, reached via stone steps from the living room, has a double bed, sofa and armchair, a flatscreen TV, laptop workspace and a large wardrobe.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.
Bathroom
A spacious bathroom with a full bath with shower head, a separate shower, basin, bidet and WC.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ROAD TO THE HOUSE IS A HILL ROAD and the last stretch of road is not paved. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND USE VEHICLES SUITABLE FOR COUNTRY ROADS.
Location
The property is in a quiet location, surrounded by greenery, less than 10 minutes by car from the sea and the center of Alassio. There are restaurants, shops, supermarkets and a tennis court within a 5-10 minute drive. Alassio is a well-known seaside resort that has welcomed travellers for centuries. The promenade, along the sandy beaches, is perfect for taking a stroll or dining in one of the restaurants on the seafront.
The pedestrian center of Alassio, called "Budello" (10 minutes) is unmissable. Another place to visit is the Muretto di Alassio (10 minutes) where there are more than 550 plaques with the signatures of various celebrities including Ernest Hemingway, stars such as Jean Cocteau and many famous actors and singers.
You can also visit the nearby towns and beautiful landscapes of Laigueglia (15 minutes by car), Cervo (34 minutes) and Albenga (15 minutes) to get an authentic taste of the region.
Visitors can also explore the Côte d'Azur, which makes a perfect day trip.
The closest airport is at Genoa, a 1 hour and 20 minute drive from the house.
