Welcome to The Kyipo (Kee-Poe) Lakehouse! Located just west of the charming village of Wellington, it is a perfect home base for all your PEC adventures. Beautiful perennial gardens and stunning lake views are some of the highlights of this vacation property. Follow the set of stairs from the lakeside deck down to the shore where you'll find a gently sloping limestone shelf that reaches out into the lake and is a great spot for wading and swimming.
This two bedroom vacation retreat is located on 70 feet of waterfront and is comfortably furnished and set up to provide a relaxing and memorable experience for all ages.
The open living-dining area features large windows with stunning views of the lake. The view from the master bedroom is equally amazing. The covered veranda and separate lakeside deck are ideal spots to enjoy the lake view while dining and grilling on the propane BBQ.
A sunny kitchen with all you need to prepare your meals. There is a drip coffee maker and several other small appliances. You should plan to bring your own favorite ground coffee.
The cooling lake breezes are wonderful on hot summer days. Local wineries plentiful in this area as are many dinning options from fine dinning to cute cafes.
Your rental includes one beach pass for use during your stay, which will grant one car load entry to Sandbanks Beach or North Beach.
Please note that the covered hot tub at the side of the property is empty, is locked and is not in operation. It is not functional.
You'll have access to the entire house and yard. Be mindful of children in the back yard, there is a steep drop off from the grassy area down to the beach below.
Lakefront views, with steps down to the water. Limestone shelf rocks will greet you as you wade in from the shore. The cottage is will offer privacy while still being in a family neighbourhood and is set back from the busy road. There is no dock and it is strongly suggested you use water shoes when swimming or going down to the shore. Lake Ontario can be rough water so please take care when swimming, and watch the kids very closely!
Just a quick drive into the village of Wellington where you'll find a grocery store, liquor store, unique shops, lots of cafe's and restaurants.
