"Liability Waiver & Guest Responsibility Policy By booking and staying at this property, all guests agree to use the home and its amenities at their own risk. The homeowner and Lakecation Vacations (the management company) are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from the improper or unsupervised use of the following amenities: Swimming, fishing, or kayaking in the lake Use of the dock, boat slips, or boat lift Use of the diving board Use of the firepit or outdoor grill Guests assume all responsibility and liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to themselves, others, and personal property while using any of the above amenities. Children must be supervised at all times around the water, dock, firepit, and any recreational equipment. Furthermore, guests will be held financially responsible for any damage caused to these features or any other part of the property due to misuse, negligence, or violation of house rules. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you and your guests have read, understood, and agreed to this policy and release the property owner and management company from all liability related to use of these amenities. Early Check-In Policy We understand that sometimes you want to start your vacation a little sooner! While we do our best to accommodate early check-ins, they are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed in advance. Guests may contact us at 10:00 AM on the day of arrival to check if early check-in is possible. If available, the following conditions apply: An early check-in fee of $25 per hour will be charged The fee must be paid in full prior to check-in Early entry will not be granted without confirmation and payment Please note: If early check-in is important to your travel plans, we recommend booking your stay beginning the day before your intended arrival to ensure the home is reserved and ready for your early access. We appreciate your understanding as we work to prepare the home for your arrival with the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Late Checkout Policy Checkout time is 10:00 AM sharp on the day of departure. If you would like to request a late checkout, please submit your request no later than 8AM morning of your departure. All requests are subject to availability and approval and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If approved, a late checkout fee of $25 per hour will apply and must be paid in advance. Important: Guests who fail to vacate the property by 10:00 AM without prior approval will be charged $25 per hour until the property is fully vacated, as this directly impacts our cleaning and guest turnover schedule. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in helping us provide every guest with a smooth, timely check-in experience."
