Wake up, pour a coffee, and watch the boats head out across the bay. Lakefront Castle puts you right on the water in Big Bear Village, with your own dock out back and dinner a short walk away.
Main level
Walk in and look up. The great room has soaring wood-beam ceilings, a two-story stone fireplace, and a wall of windows facing the lake. In winter, light a real wood fire and watch the snow come down outside. The kitchen is made for big group meals. There's a long island, stools for whoever keeps sneaking snacks, and a wet bar for whoever's making drinks. Gather everyone around the dining table, then settle the rematch at the foosball table in the den.
Upstairs
Grab the primary suite if you can. It has a king bed, a private bath, and a balcony that looks right out over the lake, so your morning coffee starts upstairs. Bedrooms 2 and 3 fit the rest of the crew, with two fulls in one and two queens in the other. The hallway bath between them has a full tub for relaxing.
Outside
This is where the trip happens. The backyard steps down to a stone patio with a fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and a clear view across Big Bear Lake. Grill dinner on the deck, eat outside, and stay out for s'mores as the sky turns pink over the water. In the warmer months, the private dock is all yours. Rent a pontoon or kayaks at a nearby marina and tie up right behind the house.

Big Bear has some very important rules for all short term rentals. You must follow these rules or your stay will be canceled without refund and or a $350.00 fine will be charged for each occurrence:
1.) Do not exceed the stated occupancy limit: the max occupancy is (12) guests
2.) No parking on the street and a maximum of (3) cars
- NO pets allowed
4.) No amplified music 24/7
5.) Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00pm-7:00am.
- If you do not disclose that you are bringing a pet, you will be charged a $350 fee
No Parties! If you have more than the number of guests in your booking your stay will be cancelled immediately. The city takes this very seriously.

Violation of any of the following will be subject to a $350 fine and any additional fines levied by the city, whether it results in a violation or not.
Please note: Big Bear is located in the mountains, where conditions can sometimes be unpredictable. While power or Wi-Fi outages are uncommon, they can occasionally affect the entire area due to weather or other natural factors. We always do our best to support our guests, but some situations are outside our control.
Since we must follow our cancellation policy and are unable to provide refunds for natural disasters or related disruptions, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. This will give you peace of mind in the event of wildfires, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your understanding and want your trip to be as worry-free as possible.
