At just over 2 hours from St. Paul, MN, this Beautiful 3.5-acre Private Lodge with over 400' of Lake frontage, 15 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and brand-new Heated Pool will take your breath away!
We call it 'Pine Country Mansion' (PCM).
The Mansion sits on a 3.5-acre lot with beautiful, elevated views of the lake and over 400' of shoreline on Minong Lake (also called the Totagatic River and the Minong Flowage). There is a very nice, grassy lawn down a long, gradual slope to the lake with no steps into the lake and sandy shore (depending on water level) and sandy lake bottom. In the summer, we have a dock, swim platform and big lily pad as well as kayaks, paddle boards and a pontoon and two Jet skis for rent. About half of our acreage is wooded, ready for the curious minds to explore.
Pine country Mansion features an oversized lakeside patio that leads right up to the one-of-a-kind heated pool. The pool measures 12’x40’ and has been dubbed the ‘Human Aquarium’ pool for its unique lakeside window. Memorial thru Labor Day the pool is included in the cost of the property, with an additional charge beyond those dates.
The Pine Country Mansion is over 10,000 square feet of brand-new construction (it was a complete tear-down) with a Classy Rustic design that opened October of 2023. In total, it features 15 bedrooms, 11 baths, a large kitchen and 2 kitchenettes and 5 livings rooms. There are 14 King beds, 1 queen and over 30 twin beds throughout the property. Nine bedrooms have adjoining bathrooms, including 1 private master suite and 3 private 2-bedrooms suites. Twelve bedrooms have at least one additional twin bed (some have as many as 4). While we don't prefer to max out our capacity, PCL can sleep 60 people in over 45 beds. Additionally, because of the amazing views, we installed over 100 large windows. The views from inside are beautiful – Especially from the magnificent, 3-story great room that not only overlooks the lake below, but also the tree line above!
The main lodge is nearly 8,000SF and has 14 bedrooms and 10 baths. First floor is a fully open-concept design with 9-foot ceilings and a spectacular 3-story, 1,200 square foot Great Room complete with a beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace, multiple seating areas and a bar near the pool table. It has an oversized 20-foot-wide Kitchen with a 12’-long island and over 20’ of dining space. The main floor also has a 2-bedroom master suite that shares a full bath. Second floor has another 2-bedroom master suite with a shared bath, as well as 4 more bedrooms and 2 more baths and a small lounging area with a TV. The walk-out, lower level at PCM also has another 2-bedroom master suite with a shared bath as well as 3 more bedrooms and 2 baths. The lower level has a generous wet bar, dining and living room area with beautiful views overlooking the patio, pool and lake. Beyond all this, the main Lodge has bonus level accessible via a spiral staircase from second floor. It leads to a 3rd floor suite that has a private bedroom, a bathroom, and its very own living room with windows out both the front and rear of the lodge to enjoy the amazing views over the treetops and lake below!
The 2,300 square foot Clubhouse wing consists of the Clubhouse game room and a 2-story extension. The second level consists solely of the large private master suite and bath, and the main floor has another full bath plus a TV living room, that has twin bed in a nook – technically counting as a 16th bedroom. The large mudroom connects the clubhouse wing to the main lodge for ease of access during all seasons and weather. The clubhouse itself is 1,500SF of pure entertainment, including a nice bar area, 12-seat theatre, arcades and games like shuffleboard, ping pong and more!
The Pine Country Mansion rents Friday-Friday in the summer with base pricing starting at $35,000 per week. Our base pricing covers up to 35 people. Beyond 35 people, there is a $25 per person, per night fee. The property also has a $2,500 refundable security deposit. The pontoon and both jet skis rent for $2,000 each for the week. Each boat requires an additional $500 security deposit. Wisconsin Sales tax of 5.5% applies to all rental fees.
