90 km northwest from Helsinki, Lake Salkolanjärvi 300 m (length of 5 km, width 800 m), shallow, hard sand bottom, which is village's common beach with little use, no pier. Distance by car 0.8 km to common beach, rowing boat shared with another cottage. Access to the lake Salkolanjärvi requires crossing some roads.
