Located 26 km north of Kuusamo, with East Ruka (Vuosseli) 3.8 km away and West Ruka (Ruka village) 8 km away, this log cabin was built in 2011 near the small lake Pikku-Koukkulampi.
The ground floor includes a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, an entrance hall, a bathroom with two showers, an electric sauna, two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds), and two toilets. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds), a living area with a sofa bed for two, one toilet, and a small south-facing terrace.
On the ground floor, there is a large south-facing patio/terrace, a lockable ski storage, and a carport for one car (16 A socket). The yard can accommodate four additional cars. There is also a wood storage. Wireless internet (4 Mbps) is available for guests, along with the Elisa Viihde service.
A gas grill is available during the summer.
A hot tub on wheels (max 6 people) can be rented through the caretaker, subject to availability. Booking and payment are made on-site with the caretaker (price in 2025: 150 EUR/day, 250 EUR/weekend).
The sauna was renovated in spring 2026, and all beds have been updated.
