Arranged over two floors the property enjoys a huge, open-plan kitchen-diner and a lounge that’s furnished with a large L-shaped sofa - perfect for socialising and relaxation. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric Turkish coffee pot, an induction hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer. The living room also enjoys a large fireplace and features a Smart digital TV, a DVD player and a games library. Surrounded by nature Chalet Martin is located in central Slovenia approximately a 10-minute drive from the town of Grosuplje, home to the Županova Jama (Mayor's Cave). Here visitors can take guided tours to explore the seven cave chambers with unique stalactite and stalagmite formations.
The property is conveniently located next to the Pr'Mrtinet inn and restaurant. The closest supermarkets are situated in Grosuplje approximately a 10-minute drive away where guests will also find a farmers market every Saturday morning on Adamičeva cesta.
The surrounding hills offer scenic views and peaceful hiking trails including Krajinski Park (a 15-minute drive). The area is also dotted with castle ruins including Boštanj Castle (an 8-minute drive). The medieval city of Novo Mesto, located on a curve of the Krka River, makes a fascinating day trip (a 35-minute drive), and for something more relaxing the spa town of Smarjeske Toplice is just a 40-minute drive away.
