The property occupies a beautifully restored low-built, historic building with gently arched exposed stone ceilings and a blend of original stone and whitewashed walls. The stylish interior has been tastefully furnished with sleek modern fittings and a mixture of well-chosen vintage and contemporary furniture.
Inside, guests can relax and socialise in the bright and airy living space, which is furnished with a large dining table, a generous L-shaped sofa and a flat-screen TV. This area opens out through multiple glass doors to a shady terrace furnished with comfortable outside furniture, providing an alfresco extension. The separate kitchen is fitted with; an induction cooker hob, an oven, a microwave, a coffee machine, a dishwasher, a wine fridge, a fridge freezer and a breakfast bar for three.
Outside, the property is perfectly set up for alfresco living with multiple terraces, a BBQ, a shady dining area and a large swimming pool surrounded by a partially covered sun deck.

The property is located on the outskirts of Calimera a small town in the heart of the Salento peninsula. The town’s historic centre (a 4-minute drive/30-minute walk) features traditional whitewashed buildings, narrow cobblestone streets, churches and palaces. The surrounding countryside is characterised by olive groves, vineyards and Mediterranean vegetation.
Calimera serves as a great base for exploring other attractions in the Salento region. Popular beaches in the area include the marine-protected Spiaggia di Porto Cesareo (a 40-minute drive), Otranto (a 20-minute drive) and Gallipoli (a 30-minute drive); each is known for its pristine beauty and shallow waters, ideal for swimming and snorkelling. The beautiful Baroque city of Lecce, known as the "Florence of the South" is a 20-minute drive away.
