Welcome to your San Antonio home base, where the couch is bold, the kitchen is ready, and everyone gets a real bed. Two bedrooms each have a queen, while the bunk room packs in a queen over queen bunk and a twin over twin bunk. Add an open living space, two full bathrooms, and a private backyard, and you have plenty of room to eat, relax, recharge, and plot your next downtown adventure.
Everyone should have a place to sleep, sit, eat, and argue over what to watch on the Smart TV.
The living room includes a comfy couch and a Smart TV, making it the official headquarters for relaxing, movie nights, and pretending you are definitely not falling asleep halfway through the episode.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils, and the other cooking essentials needed to prepare a real meal. Food is not included. You’ll have to provide that part yourself. Science has yet to solve everything.
The primary bedroom features a queen bed and a private ensuite bathroom. The washer and dryer are also located inside the bathroom, which means laundry can now watch you brush your teeth.
The second bedroom has another queen bed along with a small desk for working, studying, or opening a laptop and staring at it convincingly.
The third bedroom is where sleeping capacity gets serious. It includes a queen-over-queen bunk bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed. That is four beds stacked with impressive efficiency and absolutely no wasted vertical real estate.
Outside, there is a small backyard with a grill for burgers, hot dogs, vegetables, or whatever else you feel qualified to cook over an open flame.
Guests also have access to the garage, providing extra room for parking, storage, or briefly wondering where you put the keys.
Guests have access to the entire house, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, the living room, kitchen, garage, and backyard. No secret rooms. No mysterious locked wings. Just the whole place.
The only shared space is the driveway, which is also used by the neighbors. Please park on only one side and leave the other side open. Think of it as a very simple parking treaty. Everybody gets a lane, nobody starts an international incident.
Other than that, the home, garage, and backyard are yours to enjoy during your stay.
The best way to reach me is through the platform’s messaging system. It keeps everything in one place, creates a clear record of the conversation, and prevents important details from vanishing into the mysterious void where forgotten text messages go.
That said, I’m also available by phone call or text if needed. So whether you have a quick question, need help with something at the house, or have discovered that an appliance is behaving in a deeply suspicious manner, feel free to reach out.
Denver Heights is one of San Antonio’s long-established East Side neighborhoods, located just outside downtown. The area mixes early-20th-century cottages and bungalows with renovated homes and newer construction, a combination that should not work mathematically, but somehow does. It is a real residential neighborhood with deep local history, community parks, longtime businesses, and actual neighbors doing normal neighbor things.
The home is conveniently located near the Alamodome, Hemisfair, Southtown, downtown San Antonio, the River Walk, and the Alamo. Hemisfair is approximately 1.4 miles away, meaning you can spend the day exploring, eating an unreasonable quantity of tacos, and return home before your feet formally submit a complaint.
Because Denver Heights is an active urban neighborhood rather than a carefully manufactured vacation compound, guests should expect ordinary city activity, passing vehicles, neighbors, and occasional background noise. In exchange, you get a central location that makes it easy to experience San Antonio without needing to organize a small expedition every time you leave the house.
Getting around is easiest by car or rideshare. The home is close to downtown and many of San Antonio’s main attractions, but the neighborhood itself is primarily residential, so driving is generally the most practical option. Walking is technically possible. Whether it is emotionally desirable during a San Antonio summer is a separate scientific question.
Guests have access to one side of the shared driveway and the private one-car garage. Please keep your vehicle entirely on your designated side so the neighbors can continue using theirs. It is a basic two-lane civilization: you get one side, they get the other, and society continues functioning.
The garage is available throughout your stay and is accessed using a keypad code. Because there is no remote, you will need to exit your vehicle to open the garage when arriving and again to close it after leaving. The garage door must remain closed whenever you are not actively entering or exiting.
Rideshare services are also readily available for trips downtown, especially when the evening’s itinerary involves margaritas or a firm refusal to deal with downtown parking.
This home is one side of a duplex, which means another residence is nearby and the driveway is shared. You may see or hear the neighbors during your stay. This is normal and not evidence that the property has accidentally duplicated itself.
Please use only one side of the driveway and keep the other side completely open for the neighboring unit.
You will also have access to a private one-car garage. A garage code will be provided before check-in. The garage does not have a remote control, so you will need to exit your vehicle, enter the code, and open the garage before pulling in. You’ll need to repeat this highly advanced procedure when leaving.
The garage door must remain closed whenever it is not actively being used. Please never leave it open, even briefly while you are inside the home. An open garage is basically an invitation for weather, bugs, and questionable life choices.
House Rules:
- Only registered guests are permitted at the property. No additional visitors or overnight guests without prior approval.
- No parties, events, or large gatherings. This is a place to stay, not an experimental nightclub.
- Quiet hours begin at 10:00 p.m. Please keep voices, music, televisions, and outdoor activity at a respectful volume out of consideration for the neighbors.
- No smoking or vaping inside the home or garage. Evidence of smoking will result in a $250 fee.
- Please park only on your designated side of the shared driveway. Do not block the neighbors or prevent them from entering or leaving.
- The garage door must remain closed at all times unless you are actively entering or exiting.
- Please do not move furniture, tamper with safety equipment, or disconnect any electronic devices.
- Lock all doors and close the garage whenever you leave the property.
- Report any damage, spills, maintenance concerns, or appliances behaving suspiciously as soon as possible. Small problems are much easier to solve before they evolve into larger, more expensive problems.
- Please treat the home, the neighbors, and the surrounding community with respect. It keeps everyone happy and dramatically reduces the likelihood of anyone having to write a strongly worded message.
