About this property

If you have ever wondered what was life like in the Tuscan region of Italy in the 1600s, look no further than this retreat, an antique mill that has been carefully restored to offer an authentic and unique experience.
The original structure has been retained and improved with the use of modern amenities to allow guests to enjoy the best of both worlds. Surrounded by a magnificent spread of greenery (10,000 square meters), the holiday villa comprises of two units- a double storied main building and another two-storey annex. With six bedrooms, it has a total capacity of 12 guests.
True to its history, guests can admire the original hydraulic works with water channels, water wheel and a dam that diverts the course of a nearby stream. It represents life as it was once in rural Italy.
There is a well-equipped, private swimming pool (unheated) nestled among tall trees with parasols and sun loungers, a dreamy bersò to enjoy alfresco dining and a BBQ. At the back of the mill, beyond the pool, there is a lovely bridge over the water course that leads to a Ping-Pong table on the other side.
Inside the main building, on the ground floor, there is a sitting area with sofas and TV, a kitchen-diner with a breakfast table. Upstairs, there is another living area with a sofa set, SAT-TV and a mini CD player and an adjoining kitchen-diner. The kitchen has all major utilities including a dishwasher. On the first floor, there is a terrace with outdoor furniture.
The annex has its own living room with a kitchen-diner. Here too, the kitchen is well equipped.
