The positives first: super clean, modern house in a nice (but cookie-cutter) neighborhood. Plenty of bedrooms, pretty close to restaurants, the Miami Airport, and for us most importantly, the Everglades National Park and Biscayne National Park.
All that for a really good price.
However, you're renting from a company, not a private person who loves their place, and you can feel that. It feels more standardized and not as homey. Some people might like that, me not so much. Same with communication. Very quick to respond, but just very business-like.
And lastly: there's a studio in the house that got rented out to a worker who had a job in the area. We could smell his cooking and hear his TV. We had a baby with us who was crying late at night, so I was feeling bad for the other person, since I knew he had to get up early. I didn't see this mentioned in the listing description, and probably wouldn't have taken the place, had we known.
All in all: nice, and a really good price.
