The communication with the host rep. was good for the most part throughout the trip. Upon arrival, The cleaning team was still working past check-in. We waited to let them leave before entering, but wish we had entered before they left as there were several bugs in the studio room on the bedroom floor and on the living room floor. The cleaners came back the next day, but bugs were still on the floor. To be fair, she used the cleaning equipment, but perhaps the suctioning mechanism wasn’t working well. The lady said that they cleaned the whole space (even the studio room which is separate from the rest of the house) before we entered. She said that they fumigated as well. The fumigation would explain why there were several dead bugs, but it would have been nice had they checked before leaving. On the main side of the house, the A/C stopped working for several hours and they had to send a technician out to fix it. This made the rest of the group uncomfortable 78+ temps.
