Often referred to as the "City of Festivals," Indio is a vibrant city located in the Coachella Valley of Southern California's Desert Region. This city is known for its annual festivals, particularly the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the Stagecoach Festival, both of which are held at the nearby Empire Polo Club, our home is just 1.4 miles away, with the perfect location for festival goers.
The Game Table Getaway is located within the Indian Palms Country Club, a gated community known for its peaceful surroundings and scenic desert charm. While the community features amenities such as a 27-hole golf course, pools, tennis and pickleball courts, and a fitness center, please note that these amenities are not accessible to guests of this property.
The surrounding area of Indio is rich in culture and history, with local attractions such as the Coachella Valley History Museum, Indio Performing Arts Center, and Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, which offers concerts, dining, and gaming. For outdoor adventures, Joshua Tree National Park is about an hour’s drive away and offers stunning desert landscapes, hiking, and rock climbing.
A car is recommended for getting around Indio and the surrounding Coachella Valley. Most attractions, restaurants, and shops are just a short drive away. Ample parking is available at the home.
Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are also readily available and a great option for attending festivals or exploring nearby cities like La Quinta and Palm Desert without worrying about parking. Palm Springs International Airport is about 30 minutes away by car, making arrival and departure easy and convenient.
Family-Friendly:
As parents of young children, we know traveling with little ones can be challenging. To make your stay easier, we provide a Pack ’n Play with crib sheets, along with children’s cups, plates, bowls, and utensils.
Pool Heater & Cleaner
Pool heating is optional and available for $125 per day + tax, due prior to arrival if requested. Pool service occurs Monday and Thursday mornings; the technician may access the backyard via the side gate and will not disturb your stay.
Hot Tub:
The hot tub is included in your nightly rate and can be easily activated using the backyard controls. Please allow up to 2 hours to reach 100–102°F, depending on outdoor temperature. If you’d like it warmed up before arrival, just message us—we’re happy to turn it on for you.
Desert Living:
This is a desert home, and sand can occasionally be carried by the wind. Our pool service works diligently to keep the pool clean, though light sand may be present after windy days.
Gated Neighborhood:
A guard gate controls access to the community. Guest names and license plate numbers are required in advance. Maximum of 3 vehicles.
