    My family and I felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door. At first, I was concerned that having three floors might take away from quality time together, but that wasn’t the case at all. The kitchen is a beautiful gathering space that flows right into the living room, and the views are so incredible they almost make it feel like you’re outdoors. We especially loved the kitchen, the decks, the water views, the master suite bathroom, and the washer that requires zero detergent—such a nice bonus. We weren’t able to enjoy the outdoor space much due to windy, stormy weather on the lake, but the decks themselves looked amazing. Also, if you’re familiar with big lake living, you know the wind can be no joke—on windy days, you’ll definitely feel it when you’re outside.

    Hilary’s place is a great for gatherings. It’s spacious with great gathering areas. But, if you’re looking to be joyful out loud and past 10 pm at night, this is not the place for your gathering. And, there is a property that is connected to this one, and if there’s another group staying there, it’s kinda creepy and weird. My family, friends and I have stayed in Airbnbs all over the world, and I have never been surveilled the way we were at Hilary’s house; it is way over the top and crosses so many boundaries. We received a noise complaint while we were there which again is why I say this is not the place for you if you plan on having the number of people that Hilary’s place accommodates, unless you’re having a Tibetan retreat.

2 night minimum (observed Holidays require a 3 night minimum) Licensee must be at least 30 years of age. No high school, college, after-prom party, or any other underage groups allowed. No bachelor or similar groups permitted. Abide by all Terms and Conditions of the signed vacation rental agreement required for rental of any Miller Beach Vacation Rentals property, regardless of booking method (direct or via a third party) Excessive cleaning (if required)is billed at $35/hr. Repairs due to damages are $45/hour. If anything becomes ruined or missing, you will be charged accordingly. Notification is given prior to any deductions from your security deposit on file. No illegal, dangerous, or non-family oriented activities or items are permitted including, but not limited to, underage drinking, illegal narcotics, strippers, beach fires, kegs, deep fryers, fireworks, other flammable items, etc. No commercial or retail entities or third-party service providers (e.g., catering companies, DJ’s, VJ’s, rental equipment companies, etc.). No smoking inside or anywhere within 15 feet of any open door or window ($1000 fine). Care for the Premises with all due care, leave it undamaged, clean, and keep conditions safe throughout your stay. Only four (4) cars are allowed at ANY point in time. Including any visitors, loading and unloading, even if for a short time period. Do not block neighbor’s garage OR park anywhere on the sloped driveway OR anywhere below. Overflow parking is 2 miles away Licencees agrees to identity verification and background check preformed by SafelyStay, Inc. Safely Trust and Safety Damage Waiver Fee provides up to $10,000 of accidental coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury during your stay. Full terms provided upon booking. Additional Guest fee applies over 12 people: $20/person per night. This covers maintenance/replacement of aerobeds, pullout sofas, extra laundry, increased utility costs, wear and tear, and more. Neighborhood quiet hours are strictly enforced from 9PM-9AM; Parties / events, lack of decorum and disruptive noise will not be tolerated; If the neighbors are disturbed, Miller Beach Vacation Rentals reserves the right to ask the tenant to vacate the premises with no refund. We use smart home technology to measure noise decibel levels throughout the property and you will be notified immediately if a noise event has been triggered. Tampering with monitoring devices is strictly prohibited and will result in a $350 fine. Speakers/Outside music not permitted anytime. This includes: party speakers, amps, subwoofers, stereo surround systems, or other high-powered audio equipment, etc.
