    Article 1: **Definitions** 1.1 **Traveller**: any person staying as part of a booking. 1.2 **Host** : owner or manager of the property hosting the travellers. 1.3 **Premises** : space, accommodation or property made available for the stay. Article 2: **Maximum number of travellers** 2.1 The maximum number of travellers authorized to stay in the premises is defined as 4 travellers. This number includes adults, children and infants. 2.2 Any addition of travellers beyond this number is forbidden without the prior agreement of the host. Article 3: **Request for Exception** 3.1 In exceptional circumstances, a request to increase the number of travelers may be submitted in writing to the Host at least 7 days prior to the arrival date. 3.2 The Host reserves the right to accept or refuse the request depending on capacity, local regulations and availability. Article 4: **Respect for the Premises** 4.1 Travellers undertake to maintain the cleanliness, order and good condition of the premises throughout their stay. 4.2 Disruptive activities, excessive noise and any form of damage are strictly forbidden. Article 5: **Penalties for Non-Compliance** 5.1 Failure to comply with limits on the number of travelers or respect for the premises will result in penalties, which may include, but are not limited to, financial penalties, immediate eviction from the premises without refund, and/or legal action. Article 6: **Modification of Regulations** 6.1 The Host reserves the right to modify these regulations at any time. Amendments will take effect immediately after they have been communicated to travellers. Article 7: **Acceptance of Regulations** 7.1 Reservation and stay in the premises imply full acceptance of these regulations by the travellers. Article 8: Security Deposit 8.1 Deposit Requirement: A security deposit is required from all travellers prior to occupancy of the premises. This deposit is intended to cover any damage, loss or infringement of the present regulations during the stay. 8.2 Amount : The amount of the security deposit is set at €300 and must be paid to the host no later than 48 hours before the date of arrival. 8.3 Refund conditions: The security deposit will be refunded in full within a maximum of 7 days following departure, provided that no damage has been noted on the premises, and that all the conditions of the present regulations have been complied with. 8.4 Withholding: In the event of damage, loss or offences, part or all of the security deposit may be withheld. The Hirer will provide a detailed inventory of fixtures and fittings and evidence of the costs incurred to repair damage, replace lost items or cover additional costs arising from non-compliance with the rules. 8.5 Disputes: In the event of disagreement over deductions made from the security deposit, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before any legal proceedings. These rules have been drawn up to ensure the well-being of all parties and respect for the premises. All travelers are asked to act responsibly and considerately during their stay. **Article 9: Eco-Responsible Commitment and Energy Management** 9.1 **Eco-Responsible Principles** : Travelers undertake to adopt an eco-responsible attitude during their stay, particularly with regard to the use of heating systems, air conditioning and other energy-consuming equipment. 9.2 **Rational Use of Energy** : Heating and air-conditioning systems must be used in a rational and eco-responsible manner. Travelers agree to : - Not to exceed the recommended temperatures of 20°C in winter and 25°C in summer. - Turn off heating/air conditioning when not on the premises or when windows are open. - Use energy equipment only when necessary and in an efficient manner. 9.3 **Energy Footprint Reduction** : Travelers are encouraged to reduce their energy footprint by turning off lights, electronics and other equipment when not in use. 9.4 **Sanctions and Penalties**: Failure to comply with eco-responsible principles and energy management guidelines may result in financial penalties and/or other sanctions, depending on the extent of overconsumption and environmental damage observed. 9.5 **Awareness and Training**: The Host undertakes to provide travelers with all the necessary information for the eco-responsible use of the facilities and to encourage them to adopt environmentally friendly behavior during their stay.
