On the 1st floor of a modern residence, the apartment has a balcony which acts as an outdoor dining room and is ideal for meals al fresco. Inside, the open-plan living area is stylishly decorated with an L-shaped sofa and a flat-screen TV. The sleek, fitted kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge/freezer. There is also a dining table for quick snacks.
The resort includes a shared swimming pool which is free for children under 10 years. For others there is a fee of LEK800 per person (aprx €8.00). There is also a tennis court which can be reserved in advance for a fee of LEK1,000/hr (aprx €10).

Location
The La Perla resort is in the heart of Lalzit Bay, one of the most popular holiday destinations in Albania. It is known for its sandy, child-friendly beach, good restaurants and bars. There is plenty to do on the beach including scuba diving, jet-skiing, water-skiing and a children’s playground. For self-catering there are several good supermarkets close by, as well as some smaller shops.
Away from the coast, there are many charming hill towns, including Kruje (1 hour) which is home to 5th-century Kruje Castle, as well as Kruje Bazaar which dates back to the 17th century. Here you can find authentic Albanian carpets, textiles and ceramics. There are also hiking routes in the surrounding mountains which range from the easy to the challenging. Adults will also enjoy a tour of Duka Winery and Vineyard (15-minute drive) which includes wine tasting and a fine lunch.
Tirana is a 45-minute drive and makes a great day trip. It is an eclectic mix of Ottoman, Soviet and Fascist architecture. The city is easy to explore on foot. Blloku is an exciting, young area, full of cafés and interesting boutiques. The main square – Skanderbeg Square is a must-see. The city’s markets offer a window onto everyday life. The New Market, Pazari Ri offers a wide range of local produce.
Tirana International Airport is just a 40-minute drive from the apartment.
