Level 5: Entertainment loft with large sectional seating group. Level 4: Two Queen bedrooms, full bathroom, and private passage to the Coach House. Level 3: Front Door and Great Room with Kitchen and Dining for 12, outdoor access to gated patio with grill, hot tub, firepit, etc. Level 2: Bunkroom with queen and 2 twin beds, futon sofa, full bathroom, laundry, and side yard/driveway access. Level 1: Game room with foosball, poker/game table, large sectional sofa, and wet bar.

Travel time is about an hour. We are approximately 45 minutes from Midway airport and 1 hour from O’Hare airport. Uber and Lyft are available in Miller Beach

    We really enjoyed our stay! The house was comfortable and enough space for what our group needed. The location and walkability to the beach was lovely. We were looking forward to cooking with our big group and were disappointed to find that only half of the stove burners worked consistently. We reserved both the main house and the guest house. If you're looking to book both too, just make sure you know that you can get to the guesthouse by walking through one of the bedrooms, which was unclear from the description. Also FYI late checkout is sometimes available, but it is an extra fee. Overall it was a great stay!

    We recently rented this home for our church's women's fall spiritual retreat. This stay for our group of 21 ladies was more than we expected. We chose this home for its size, proximity to the shore, and great accommodations. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find the house had been recently updated. It was absolutely beautiful...bright, serene, and peaceful! The cleanliness of the home was great! The attention to detail was appreciated. I love a well stocked kitchen and this one hit the mark. We had everything we needed, even two crock-pots that came in handy. There was plenty of extra bedding, folding tables and chairs for our group. Communication with the property management company was superb throughout our stay. All and any issues were quickly discussed and resolved. We had issues with the air mattresses holding air, within hours we had new air mattresses delivered. The hot tub blew a breaker while we were using, the service technician was there within the hour of our call, and kindly explained how to avoid that happening again. Thanks to their camera system, they even let us know when we inadvertently left our car doors open outside, after bringing items in. We even had the honor of meeting the owners of the property during our stay. Their welcoming and gracious spirit were as beautiful as the home they shared with us. Every lady that left our retreat remarked on what an amazing time we had. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

    Management responded quickly to all questions. It was a nice spot that worked well for a group of couples with kids. Nice to have a beach area in back to Play volleyball. A nice walk through the dunes to a nice big beach on Lake Michigan.

    We had 17 people-11 adults + 6 children (7yo-15yo) The house is at the end of a quiet, established residential neighborhood. The pros-The house is clean & comfortable. It has enough beds for all of us, 2 full kitchens, 2 laundry areas, a picnic table style kitchen table we all fit around. The house is well equipped with bath towels, linens, & kitchen supplies to prep & serve 20+ppl. The “penthouse” is a suite-bedroom, bathroom, sauna space on top level with an amazing view of the lake. The back deck has a grill, firepit, and hot tub-all worked without any trouble. The sand volleyball court is well maintained w/ soft sand-volleyballs & sand toys on site. The path to Lake Street Beach is a short distance thru sand & dune vegetation, then a paved path. The beach is awesome! Communication with host was wonderful-Hilary & her team always responded quickly and were attentive to our needs. The cons-There are no ramps between the 6 levels of the home-just stairs. There are no bedrooms or bathroom on the “main”level. One full bathroom is currently out of order. You must go thru the “pass thru” bedroom or go around outside to access the 2nd kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and the penthouse. Several of us got chigger bites along the path to the beach. The vrbo photos show this house in its best lighting/staging/angles. We were slightly disappointed at the actual lot size & interior spaces. Without hesitation, I would recommend this house for a large gathering 🙂

    Multiple amenities were not available. The photos online were not up-to-date with what was in the house. Notified late/last minute the hot tub was broken with no eta on repair during the stay. Saturday into Sunday afternoon, there was no hot water in the whole house + guest house. The maintenance guy had mentioned that the AC could not be turned on until June, but the owner communicated to me that it could be turned on. The main kitchen stove burners half of them worked. It was unfortunate to have to hear from local kids that this place was involved in a gang shootout where there was evidence of violence still present. This made our guests feel unsafe during the weekend stay. The timers on the gas grill and firepit were inaccurate, had to keep resetting them. Hopefully, by the next reservation, your other bathroom will be finished and the sink won't be in a clothes closet.

2 night minimum (observed Holidays require a 3 night minimum) Licensee must be at least 30 years of age. No high school, college, after-prom party, or any other underage groups allowed. No bachelor or similar groups permitted. Abide by all Terms and Conditions of the signed vacation rental agreement required for rental of any Miller Beach Vacation Rentals property, regardless of booking method (direct or via a third party) Additional Holiday Premium may apply No illegal, dangerous, or non-family oriented activities or items are permitted including, but not limited to, underage drinking, illegal narcotics, strippers, beach fires, kegs, deep fryers, fireworks, other flammable items, etc. No commercial or retail entities or third-party service providers (e.g., catering companies, DJ’s, VJ’s, rental equipment companies, etc.). No smoking inside or anywhere within 15 feet of any open door or window ($1000 fine). Excessive cleaning (if required)is billed at $35/hr. Repairs due to damages are $45/hour. If anything becomes ruined or missing, you will be charged accordingly. Notification is given prior to any deductions from your security deposit on file. Care for the Premises with all due care, leave it undamaged, clean, and keep conditions safe throughout your stay. Parking for 8 cars in the driveway, street parking not permitted. Overflow parking (free, overnight) available nearby. delete Licencees agrees to identity verification and background check preformed by SafelyStay, Inc. Safely Trust and Safety Damage Waiver Fee provides up to $10,000 of accidental coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury during your stay. Full terms provided upon booking. Additional Guest fee applies over 13 people: $20/person per night. This covers maintenance/replacement of aerobeds, pullout sofas, extra laundry, increased utility costs, wear and tear, and more. Neighborhood quiet hours are strictly enforced from 9PM-9AM; Parties / events, lack of decorum and disruptive noise will not be tolerated; If the neighbors are disturbed, Miller Beach Vacation Rentals reserves the right to ask the tenant to vacate the premises with no refund. Outdoor Music is not permitted after 9PM. Small, wireless bluetooth speakers are permitted except during Quiet Hours (9pm - 9am). Not permitted are party speakers, amps, subwoofers, stereo surround systems, or other high-powered audio equipment, etc. We use smart home technology to measure noise decibel levels throughout the property and you will be notified immediately if a noise event has been triggered. Tampering with monitoring devices is strictly prohibited and will result in a $350 fine.
