Enjoy a spacious family getaway in this traditional two-storey 125 m² kelo-log villa in the Iso-Veska area of Länsi-Ruka, Kuusamo. Built in 2007, it suits larger families and groups travelling with pets, and features a private electric sauna, a cozy fireplace, and a rowing boat for summer use on Lake Iso-Veska (500 m). Cross-country ski tracks start 100 m from the door, snowmobile routes are under 1 km away, and Ruka Ski Resort is 5 km away.
The villa is spread over two floors, with the open-plan living space and two bedrooms downstairs and two more bedrooms upstairs.
Living room & Kitchen: The ground floor offers a welcoming combined living room and kitchen with a traditional fireplace, radio, CD player and DVD player. The kitchenette is fully equipped with an electric stove, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and a separate freezer, plus tableware and cutlery for 12 people. An iron, vacuum cleaner and cleaning equipment are provided, and a baby cot and high chair are available on request for additional fee.
Bedrooms: Downstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two separate single beds. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, each with two separate single beds, plus two extra beds. In total the villa sleeps 8 guests in standard beds, with space for 2 more on the extra beds.
Bathroom & Sauna: The washroom area includes a toilet, a shower, a washing machine, a hairdryer and a drying cabinet for outdoor clothing. Directly connected is your own private electric sauna, perfect after a day on the trails.
Outdoor area: Step outside onto the porch/terrace to take in the fresh air and the surrounding Iso-Veska scenery. In summer a rowing boat is available for guests' use on Lake Iso-Veska, 500 metres away.
Please note that final cleaning and bed linens are not included in the rental price, but can be purchased separately from the host.
