About this property

Set on the beach side of Hwy 87 in Ocean Shores, this comfy 3BR/2BA home sleeps up to 8 and puts you moments from the beach. Walk in minutes or drive right onto the sand for sunrise coffee, sandcastle time, and sunset strolls. Fully furnished with linens, towels, and kitchen essentials—perfect for families and small groups.
Comfy 3BR/2BA beach home with a sunny living room that flows to a full kitchen. The laundry room off the kitchen keeps beach gear in check. Sleeps up to 8 across three cozy bedrooms, with 2 full baths. Outside, coffee on the upper deck, dinner on the shaded patio table, and an outdoor shower for quick rinse-offs. Clean, simple, and ready for your crew.
Guests are free to use the entire house except the owner's closet off the pantry.
I'm not local to the area so I will not be available in person but I can be reached on the messenger thread or phone/text.
Ocean Shores (legally recorded as Ocean Shore Addition Sec. 1) is a small Crystal Beach neighborhood on the Bolivar Peninsula with quick, easy access to the drive-on Gulf beaches via the cross streets off Hwy 87. It’s a laid-back coastal area with a mix of vacation homes and year-round residents, popular for quiet beach time and fishing. The subdivision dates to the late 1970s and has continued to build out over the years.
Tip for guests: This beach does require a parking permit if you plan to drive and park on the beach.
Walk or bike to the beach in minutes. For quick runs, a golf cart is the move—licensed driver only, cart plate required, and stick to roads 35 mph or under (you can cross Hwy 87, just don’t drive along it). Carts and cars are allowed on the beach; if you’re driving a car/truck, grab a Bolivar Beach Parking Sticker in town. On the sand the speed limit is 15 mph, no glass, and please keep off the dunes. Heading to Galveston? The ferry is free and 24/7—check wait times before you go. Rideshare is hit-or-miss out here, so plan ahead if you’ll need a taxi or shuttle. During busy weekends, add a little buffer time and you’re golden.
Please note: A security deposit pre-authorization hold of $200 is required. You’ll receive a secure guest portal link after booking to enter your card info. The hold is placed 3 days before check-in and released 4 days after check-out, as long as there’s no damage.
