Setter Haus is a fully renovated 4-bedroom house centrally located to Purina Farms, WashMo, wine country, and St. Louis.
Ideal for a stay in the Show Me state, the Setter Haus hosts business travelers, dog show competitors, and couples looking to enjoy the greater St. Louis area.
The home sleeps a total of 10 people with 4 queen beds and a king sofa sleeper in the great room.
THE SPACE
The Setter Haus has an open living, dining, and kitchen area, and 4 bedrooms with a queen sized bed in each. Full bathroom located in the hallway with washer and dryer and a second bathroom with shower in the lower level.
Only 8-10 minutes to the Purina Events Center, the Setter Haus is popular with guests competing at events held throughout the year.
LIVING and DINING AREA
The living area has a nonworking fireplace, a beautiful area rug, a flat screen TV with your favorite streaming apps, a chair and a large couch that pulls out to a king sleeper.
The dining area seats 6 people around the table with an additional table in the kitchen that seats 4 people.
Note that you will need to have your own Netflix, Hulu, Dish. etc. accounts to access those features as we do not share our accounts with you.KITCHEN
Fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave as well as several small appliances that you can't live without (i.e. Keurig, regular coffeemaker, teapot). The Setter Haus is equipped with white place settings, solid flatware, and glassware.
DECK
The deck is off the kitchen and has a gas grill as well as lounge seating. Propane is provided for your stay.
THE BEDROOMS
With crisp white linens and a deliciously comfortable queen bed in each bedroom, your sleep is high priority at the Setter Haus. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level and 2 bedrooms in the lower level (one has a flat screen TV).
Note that the ceiling in the lower level is a low ceiling.
BATHROOMS
The clean, well lit bathroom is located in the hall and contains a stacked washer and dryer. Plush towels await you when you step out of the shower. The second bathroom is in the lower level and has a shower.
We provide fluffy white towels, a hair dryer, and shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom, as well as a bar of locally made goat milk soap for each stay.
LAUNDRY
The Setter Haus has a large capacity washer and dryer available for guest use on the main level of the home. We also provide a starter of laundry detergent and dryer sheets for your stay.
FRONT PORCH AND YARD
Setter Haus has a front porch welcome you to enjoy a cup of morning coffee or relax in the evening with local beer or wine while Fido plays in the large yard.
PETS
A family dog or two are welcome to come with you, but only with prior approval. Please note that the county requires that you keep your dog on a leash outside and clean up the poo. There is a $25/night rate plus tax per dog.
If you are coming for competition at Purina Events Center, please contact us for approval of multiple dogs and a special dog rate. The dog rate applies to ALL dogs on property, even those you choose not to bring inside the home.

The Setter Haus shares the gravel drive and acreage with our Fox Haus and Hound Haus. You will see the other two homes nearby. Have friends with you? Book all three houses.

GUEST ACCESS
The main and lower levels of the home as well as the porch, deck, and yard are all yours to enjoy. The owner's locked storage closet on the main level and locked storage area in the lower level are not available to guests.

ADDITIONAL INFO

š³ Credit card must be on file in case of damages. We will send you an email to authorize a $1 hold after your booking is confirmed. This hold begins 3 days before your arrival and is released 3 days after departure if there is no damage, no excessive cleaning needed, and no house rules are broken.
š Drivers license will be required with our signed guest agreement after you book, along with a selfie holding your photo ID
š We will perform a Guest ID verification securely through our payment processor after you book. The main purpose is to make sure no one has stolen your credit card and used it without your permission.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
You can purchase travel insurance for your reservation! The standard policy covers quite a few reasons for cancellation and applies to your whole traveling group.
Note that all new reservations have the option of purchasing a Cancel For Any Reason insurance policy besides the standard travel insurance policy. You can purchase this when you make your reservation with us, and the insurance is automatically connected to your stay.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel before 30 days of arrival, you receive a full refund of your deposit, less a cancellation fee. If you cancel within 30 days of arrival, there is no refund.
