A spacious log villa by Lake Alakitkajärvi, located 37 km north of Kuusamo and 9 km from Ruka. The property features a sandy-bottomed shoreline, private jetty, rowing boat and canoe – ideal for enjoying the water in all seasons.
The main building, originally built in 1985, was fully renovated in 2013 and partially updated in 2018. With a total area of 300 m², it accommodates up to 14 guests. There are 7 bedrooms, each with two beds. 2 of the bedrooms include an additional sleeping chair.
Facilities include a comfortable lounge, well-equipped kitchen, electric sauna, shower room with two showers, 5 toilets, Wi-Fi, and a full-size billiard table. A dining set for 24 people is available. In winter, guests can use the ski maintenance room with waxing stand.
For groups larger than 14, additional accommodation must be booked in two two-storey log cabins ("Revontuli cabins"), each offering 2 beds downstairs and 2 beds upstairs. Please, book the product "Outbuilding" and price is per an outbuilding.
The cabins are located approx. 150 metres from the main building and come with a Biolan composting toilet nearby. Final cleaning is included in the cabin rental price.
A year-round hot tub is available for guest use. The hot tub is included in the accommodation price, and guests may fill and heat it themselves. Alternatively, filling and heating can be arranged with the caretaker for an additional fee. Winter guests can also enjoy ice swimming.
