    Article 1: **Definitions** 1.1 **Traveler**: any person staying as part of a reservation. 1.2 **Host**: owner or manager of the property hosting travelers. 1.3 **Premises**: space, accommodation, or property made available for the stay. Article 2: **Maximum Number of Travelers** 2.1 The maximum number of travelers permitted to stay at the premises is set at 4 travelers. This number includes adults, children, and infants. 2.2 No additional travelers may be added beyond this number without the prior consent of the host. Article 3: **Request for Exception** 3.1 In exceptional circumstances, a request to increase the number of guests may be submitted in writing to the host at least 7 days before the arrival date. 3.2 The host reserves the right to accept or refuse the request based on accommodation capacity, local regulations, and availability. Article 4: **Respect for the Premises** 4.1 Travelers agree to maintain the cleanliness, order, and good condition of the premises throughout their stay. 4.2 Disruptive activities, excessive noise, and any form of damage are strictly prohibited. Article 5: **Penalties for Non-Compliance** 5.1 Failure to comply with the limits on the number of travelers or to respect the premises will result in penalties, which may include, but are not limited to, financial penalties, immediate expulsion from the premises without refund, and/or legal action. Article 6: **Modification of the Rules** 6.1 The host reserves the right to modify these rules at any time. Modifications take effect immediately after they are communicated to travelers. Article 7: **Acceptance of the Rules** 7.1 The reservation and stay at the premises imply full and complete acceptance of these rules by travelers. Article 8: Security Deposit 8.1 Deposit requirement: A security deposit is required from all travelers before occupying the premises. This deposit is intended to cover any damage, loss, or breach of these rules during the stay. 8.2 Amount: The security deposit is set at €300 and must be paid to the host no later than 48 hours before the arrival date. 8.3 Refund Conditions: The security deposit will be refunded in full within a maximum of 7 days after departure, provided that no damage has been found on the premises and that all the conditions of these rules have been complied with. 8.4 Deductions: In the event of damage, loss or infringements, part or all of the security deposit may be retained. The host will provide a detailed inventory and supporting documents for the costs incurred to repair the damage, replace lost items or cover additional costs arising from non-compliance with the rules. 8.5 Disputes: In the event of a disagreement over deductions made from the security deposit, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before taking any legal action. These rules are established to ensure the well-being of all parties and respect for the premises. All travelers are asked to act responsibly and considerately during their stay. **Article 9: Eco-Responsible Commitment and Energy Management** 9.1 **Eco-Responsible Principles**: Travelers agree to adopt an eco-responsible attitude during their stay, particularly with regard to the use of heating, air conditioning, and other energy-consuming equipment. 9.2 **Rational Use of Energy**: Heating and air conditioning systems must be used in a rational and eco-responsible manner. Guests agree to: - Not exceed the recommended temperatures of 20°C in winter and 25°C in summer. - Turn off heating/air conditioning when they are not in the premises or when windows are open. - Use energy-consuming equipment only when necessary and in an efficient manner. 9.3 **Reducing the Energy Footprint**: Travelers are encouraged to reduce their energy footprint by turning off lights, electronic devices, and other equipment when not in use. 9.4 **Sanctions and Penalties**: Failure to comply with eco-responsible principles and energy management guidelines may result in financial penalties and/or other sanctions, depending on the extent of the overconsumption and environmental damage observed. 9.5 **Awareness and Training**: The host agrees to provide travelers with all the information necessary for eco-friendly use of the facilities and to encourage them to adopt environmentally friendly behaviors during their stay.
